Great account Dave, a marvellous achievement by the whole team.

Flew again yesterday, after at least 15 years restorative endeavours. Well done !
16 airworthy Hurricanes now.

Is it new ? It flew some years ago with Harry Wheratt, I believe. I think he put it on its nose.
Great to see, anyway.
This was not going to end well..
It reminds me a bit of Farnborough Air Show. A new team ‘inherited’ the running of the event, but within their ranks was very little experience or understanding of air displays, or particularly what public/enthusiasts wanted. They declined advise and external input, charged (£) like a wounded rhino, and in a short period of time had so debased the ‘brand’ that the negative press was quite overwhelming, and the jig was up- no more public displays.
Vacuous marketing, ignorance of their subject and core audience, and changes for the sake of change killed something greatly cherished by many.
A depressingly common scenario.
How interesting ! I hope Travolta, great actor that he is, has not been cast as a 20-something Vampire pilot.
He might be the bumbling Flt Lt Marks. or old Joe. There is nobody else really.
Nord this week. Looking at bit rough in this drone footage

Very good news, and and an enlightened stance by BAe.
The best possible result really.
First Spitfire of Spring ! Over Chesham, heading west
No cannons, so probably PRIX, so probably Peter Teichman, possibly off for lunch at Turweston or somewhere up in that direction.

I think you will find this to be of great help. It is the best resourse I am aware of.

Here we go again. 14 pages as usual.
I am looking forward to attending events which are not hobbled by restrictions of the sort which became all too familiar over the last two ‘lost’ display seasons.
I think most people want things to feel ‘normal’ again, but given present global events, we seem to be a long way from that right now.
Blimey, wooden airframes don’t do well outside

Geoff Goodall’s listing is as good as any I know of; -very comprehensive and up-to-date.
