OB Wildcat Photo Comp – postponed
Due to a technical problem outside of our control, one of the Wildcats will not be airworthy this Sat – so we are postponing the photo competition, hopefully not for too long.
We will keep you guys informed of the rescheduled dates!
Apologies,
Al

We are hoping that the weather Gods will shine on Old Buck next Sat (Aug 20th) as we are practicing in the overhead and would like to draw your attention to the fact that our first photographic competition winner will be chosen on Aug 25th.
So bring your Box-Brownies down to OB next Sat and be in with a chance of winning a trip in one of the Wildcats!
I understand that there is also a “live-fire” exercise that day, too; more details either via the website or on our Facebook pages.

Why not “Like Us” on Facebook and then you’ll receive all of our news via your own FB pages?
look forward to seeing you next Sat – we’ll be there from mid morning onwards…

Great pics.
Our website is now live and you can upload pics of Wildcat Formation straight to it and leave comment/feedback. We have some amazing new video on there, too. Willie’s Pitts is booked in for a repaint early next month, so we will have two identically looking Pitts’ later this year.

OB Pitts’ – Wildcat Formation
Hi – my name is Al,
Willie my formation partner and I are Wildcat Formation, the Pitts pair you see from 13:28 in Orion’s awesome video.
We are working up with a view of emerging on the UK Airshow scene next year, 2012 in a pair of similarly liveried Pitts S2’sl
So the point of this post is really a request: if you have any good images or video of us, we’d like to be able to access it from our website (in development currently) – so we have a one-stop-shop for good images of us doing what we love and hopefully what you guys love to capture.
We have discussed running a competition on the website that would allow talented photograhers to post pics and the winners would become eligible for a front seat trip in one of our bipes!
Orion David – we’d love you to re-edit yr vid and perhaps allow us to post it on our YouTube Channel

Obviously you will all be credited for any work submitted and we propose in the next few weeks to hold a couple of sessions to take photographers for a quick trip and see how well they capture air2air shots! Then we’ll sort out a camera ship
Resident OB shutter-bugs: Keith N and David M know us, so have a chat with them if you have any worries that you don’t feel ready to share with Willie or myself.
Thanks chaps.
