One question. Whose land did the American Indian Steal? Im sure it was some nice plot of land for some turtle or bear or something.

Quite frankly, and this may sound rude, but I’m gona say it anyways. As an American, I am tired of hearing how we screwed up this naturally perfect benign culture known as the American Indian. Get some historical facts in your brain first before we even discuss ramifications.

BTW, this post wasn’t directed at anyone on this board, it was more of a “venting” and a little historical lesson from Chuck himself.

Continue on please, with pretty pictures and possibilities 😀

I trust that the “fat cats” and other free market “Stalinists” will show due gratitude to the nasty old “State” that has had to come to the aid of the failed market system and to those whose unbridled greed have brought this situation about…..though somehow I doubt that they will:mad:

I’m not exactly clear on what you were trying to say, but I think I understand. And not that I totally disagree with you, but I do on one point, at least in reference to the US.

The Federal Government basically caused this whole mortgage mess..Yes I said it and I’ll continue to say it. I know Fannie and Freddie are “private”, but they’re better known as GSEs, Government Sponsored Enterprises. Which, in essence, takes the “privateness” out of it. And when these two “companies” control half the the US mortgage market, they become the market. If these two companies were truly private, there would be calls of Anti-trust and Anti-monopolies being thrown around more than the F bomb….But they’re not, therefore, they are not at fault for anything.

I’ll continue with why Fannie and Freddie in conjunction with the Feds are culpable later if I may, but its time to have a refreshing adult beverage. Believe me, there isn’t enough whiskey to get through the presidential elections for this American

Whats wrong with drywall (plasterboard), 3 coats of compound (thick liquid gypsum product) over all joints and screw holes……2 coats of primer and a few top coats of the color of your choosing?

Always works well for me, Ive done it more than I care to remember haha.

Wow. Thats about all I can say to that dissertation on the abomination called the US Aerospace Industry.

Hell, from reading all that, I’m surprised we even still have planes flying, since they’re obviously so flawed, they should be no better than glorified jet cars.

I do have a question though…What is a program that you would define as successful Over G?

    Makes an Interesting read

Americans are allergic to Russia’s Topol missiles

I dont quite understand……the whole article is warning of a coming US super nuclear capability…with little to worry about…..so why would Topols make us have an allergic reaction?

Is this guy, to use an American term, a “Hawk”…. Just trying to get more defense money and getting everyone worried about the boogieman?

Im not sure how it is across the pond, but here in the US if you listen to a reporter their job is the most important in the whole world, the rest of us aren’t worthy of their abilities to read a teleprompter.

17.5 tons? not gonna happen. look at performance figures. It simply cannot supercruise from 5km to 11km height as tested by Sukhoi.

45,000 feet & Mach 1.6 to Mach 1.8 is nothing special. What is important how long can stay there on those speeds. with its tiny fuel capacity and limited range radar. What is the range enevlope?. Su-35 has massive internal fuel capacity with long range radar suitable for seeing much further which is strategic advantage @those altitudes & would have no problem in staying & surpassing those speeds for far longer than EF. But it cannot still match the high altitude and high speed performance of MIG-31. that thing with recent upgrades is in different league.

Star, pleas learn what the word “niche” means and you will understand why, for all intensive purposes, the Mig-31 is useless.

Not saying it isn’t an amazing plane with great capabilities, but I think its days are over, the “Flaker” series has much more potential at this point.

Unfortunately, that happens anytime Jon James jumps in..

Sorry, I don’t like to legitimately hijack thread. But, if I’m not mistaken, 2 out of three groups in Iraq were against Saddam, and the third was more of a willing follower if nothing else.

I’m an American, I freely admit it. (Flex should know 😉 ) We’re not perfect, never have been, question is lesser of 2 evils………yes I said it. Its what I said and Ill stick to it.

I once heard from a man I hold in high regard, he said “The world is governed by the aggressive use of force”. Personally, I don’t think truer words have been spoken.

Can we all hope for a better world? YES, Please. Can we hope for a world where the only thing we have to deal with are bad businessmen? YES please,,,,,,bring it on……but we don’t live in this world, and I hate to say it, we never will………….

The US isnt perfect, never has been. But, as an American, I want the best, the brightest…….etc etc As much as I dont have a problem with the current foreign policy, I do…….I feel we arent reaching out enough to the “young bucks” from whatever “stan” and giving them a free place to expand on their idears.

BTW, sorry to hijack the thread, personally, Id love to seem some self filmage or photos of aerial combnat, minus the gorriness of course.

I heard this this morning and wondered if this was just a ploy by the new government to placate the pakistani citizens but vowing to keep America away, while at the same time letting the US keep the status quo.
