    Good idea.

However, I’m disqualifying Mme Sarkozy here and now on the grounds that it’s only fair to all the other political females.

When I become president I will send the US Army to Paris and she will be my war trophy :p

I wont lie though. I won’t say France has WMDs or anything, I’ll let everyone know I just want the presidents wife 😀

Well that explains a hellva lot. I think Flex said it best when his dream of a fighter was 10,000 Mig-15s or something along those lines.

Sorry, Utter Rubbish. (The story, not Flex) This isn’t the 1970s. On top of that, what about the JSFs optical suite? Shouldn’t it help the pilot ID planes from a pretty good distance? Let alone radar programming, AWACS, C&C and all that crap?

article with a little bit more info

    http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/5954/jsfnews2lm4.jpg

I smell BS on this article. For one, we all know 4 F-22s can take on 50 Su-30/35s with no problem :dev2:

But honestly, something seems a little fishy about this “Pacific Vision” battle.

Superior numbers I can see, but isnt that exactly what the F-22/F-35 and to a lesser degree F-18E/F are designed to counter with “superior” avionics and SA?

Of course, but according to some people the strategic balance is changing with these radars and their associated 5,000 interceptor missiles :p

Forgive me for hijacking this thread, but now that a 3rd series of Radars will be deployed…..

Well, lets just say this clip sums up the situation:

I have to be honest. I was worried when I heard about this experiment and when I woke up this morning I saw this huge black hole next to my bed. I felt as if I was in a dream, getting ready to fall off the bed and be sucked in. I tried grabbing for the headboard but couldn’t quite get a good handhold on it.

Just as my feet touched this anomaly, it moved. It was my English black lab Mindy.

Next time, I guess I’ll put a light on when I wake up before sunrise, let alone drink a “bit” of Johnny Walker before I go to bed :p

Hey, you are 17 years old, almost a man. Man up. When they pick on you, just smile, dont say a word.

In 5,10, or 20 years youll be the one laughing at these silly fools, dont let them get you down. 🙂

what annoyed me about today was the fact i was lying on the path with my leg bleeding..my bike half in the railing..and people just walking past me and stepping over me…and a nissan worker on a bike who asked me to move so he could get through

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I am glad the states aren’t the only location where you can find “blankety blank blanks ” like this.

This is one thing that really irritates me about people. How could someone in good conscience just walk by someone like this without the slightest thought or care?

You should have kicked that nissan worked in one of his knees with your good leg.

Man i will suggest you learn a little bit of Russian and browse the Russian Internet, since the MiG-25 is a russian product, you will find plenty of information and literature about the MiG-25, some pages will be full of pictures depending what you browse, some are not, but generally what firebar is writting is common knowledge in Russia, [/B]

Do I need a passport to visit this Russian Internet ? If so Ill have to renew mine.

Oh, is this Russian Internet the Chinese Internets neighbor? Where a 10 year old becomes 16 in 2.5 years and then 20 or whatever? Fascinating math other people practice.

Honestly, why would the US today be worried about SSBNs sitting right off the coast launching missiles on depressed trajectories?

Reason I ask is, its sorta like the Grim Reaper knocking on your front door saying “You are going to die, in either 5 minutes or 15″…Your answer would of course be, what in the hell are you talking about? Not, what am I going to to with those extra 10 minutes?

How many silos, on a good day, could be taken out in a preemptive strike by the Russians on the US mainland if the Russians had all their SSBNs “close in” with minimal warning time. How many US SSBNs would be knocked out by the Ruskies so they couldn’t launch a retaliatory strike?

I hate to inform some people, but even with this “missile shield” going into Eastern Europe, MAD is still in effect, as far as I can tell.

Then again, I’m just some blue collar schlub, what do I know?
