Do you guys across the pond send up Typhoons/Tornados in case some little Cessna gets lost keeps overflying a nuke station, wont land or answer the radio?

Well I guess my question is, are Typhoons on QRA yet? I thought I had read they were, maybe thats a possibility.

Oh and the nuke powerplant incident? Happened here in the states, it was nighttime and the guy was drunk, kept flyin around at low level, they finally got him to land somehow. Idiot.

I hate to admit it but I did watch the golden girls when I was younger, Estelle was funny as hell playing the old mother.

This may sound silly, but has anyone been in the bathroom/restroom/water closet standing at a urinal relieving oneself, when someone walks in talking and you worried they’re talking to you or they are crazy, only to realize they have one of those earpieces plugged in? Its really disconcerting. :p

I think the whole civilised world would be behind that sentiment. But what about the savages? Would it just make it all the more tempting as a potential target again? Then again, if you didn’t rebuild, that would be like giving into them. Difficult choice.

I say put the AEGIS system on it, it could take care of all incoming “problems”. Load it up with standards and rams, that would be just fine I think. Oh, and add a few of those new electromagnetic rail guns too for good measure. :diablo:

NYC wouldnt have to worry about much of anything, let alone the towers.

Well personally, I felt the best way to pay tribute was to rebuild the twin towers, just taller and better engineered of course. It would be like two huge middle fingers sending back a message if ya know what I mean.

    Have I missed something?

Since when has it been economically feasible to run cars on hydrogen (or even possible to run them on water)? And yes, I understand water is H2O but how do we get the H separated from the 2O?

I may be wrong but I think thats where the almighty “fuel cell” comes in to play….

    What’s with the red rash?

Nothing offends me (Apart from child abuse or other such like), I was just pointing out that almost can be turned around into being not PC.

I dont like your sentiments about child abusers and whatnot. Dont you understand those abusers were themselves abused and we have to understand why theyd do such things? Come on, get with the times.

    OK…PC/Sarcastic mode off :diablo:

Not the best video, but not to shabby either for a handheld.

Yeah, I heard about this one too, its getting so ridiculous that its not even funny anymore.

For my friends across the pond, I was wondering if you could tell me about the case where 2 school children got reprimanded for not praising Allah during a “multi-cultural” exercise. Has anyone heard about this? I just heard it today in passing on the radio.
