A E-2 derivative is to slow for a tanker………how slow is it, compared to lets say a fully ;aden super hornet tanker?

And, the idea of the prop sound came up, in reguards to ASW work. My question is, how much time should we (not the Navy) expect the P-8A to spend on the deck, searching for contacts? Im just wondering. Honesty, id bet, over a lifetime, even under the same circumstances, the p-8A will spend less time on the deck…..

Therefore, does the “prop noise” even come into effect, since now that ive thought about it, the P-3 got along fine with its turboprops…..?

Well I agree, I was on a bit of a rant (A few drinks tend to start up my rant mode haha). But truth be told, GE is a large corporation with many different entities. A good many of its products is based towards the “green movement”. Here in the US its half of their commercials, how “clean and green” they are.

To top it all off, they own one of the major tv networks, NBC. I swear half the time on the morning news show, they spend on “green” issues. Honestly, I have no problem with this, except they pass it off as news. That was my point of calling GE the “green commie crap company”…..I just got a little wound up 😀
