As a distant cousin across the pond, I can not really show how how happy I am to see this sort of “anger/unhappiness” with this new current thing in Great Britain.

I have to go to bed, it is 02:30 am here and its way past my bedtime, but like I said I am glad to see some fellow peoples think the same way even us crazy yanks do…..watch out, the other day some of us yanks we put on a terrorist watch list for a certain political add bumper sticker….and yes he was main stream, as in Ron Paul……they changed their stance since then…..(Probably since a nationally syndicated radio talk show host blasted them for being complete idiots…..but who am I to judge?)

I don’t know how you guys in Europe put up with he taxes and waste and nanny state controls like the CCTV and now the email thingy…I know the NSA here checks EVERYTHING…….but at least its not a stated goal, it may just be semantics but it does make me feel a little better…..I hope the best for you guys, we always can use a few good rebels over here, as long as you can shoot straight, and don’t mind drinkin a beer 🙂

I only have one thing to say. Why on earth do they now insist on fitting catalytic converters to diesel engines when diesels don’t run hot enough for the cat to actually work?

I ripped mine off, along with the muffler, straight pipe right off of the turbo…..Then again they arent emissions testing my truck yet over here in the states, but just in case I kept the cat, I can always do a quick reweld.

How about the new Diesel Particulate Filters? They are a serious PITA and really make the trucks over here gas hogs, its freakin ridiculous. As a matter of fact, I’ve heard and read stories of a truck getting 10-11 mpg with all the emissions stuff hung off it, when ripped off and with some software programming that actually gives the engine more power, numbers increasing anywhere from 18-20mpg, and this is for a 8000 plus pound truck.

I had no intention of debating british monarchy.. and Michele Obama “touching” queen should be non issue except to few stuck up traditionalists.

I’m finding it strange that nobody except fox is finding it unacceptable for US president to BOW DOWN to Saudi King. :confused:

You do realize, if I may be so blunt, that if Barry threw crap in the kings face, more than likely the US media, other than fox, would either:

A: Not report it
B: Try to make rational sense of it
C: Blame it on the king, he deserves it after all

Not that I like fox personally, I honestly don’t watch too many news programs because they basically repeat the same crap over and over, but at least fox does report on things the other big 4 news channels don’t, at least here in the states. The other 4 channels have so much invested in the guy they cant cant stand to see anything bad come from it.

And does anyone really believe that if GWB had done this, even this early in his presidency, that he would be given so much “slack”? I think not.

Also, since we are on the topic of gaffes, how did Gordon Brown like his DVDs and his wife like the models of air force 1 and marine 1 for their children? I thought they were very personal, touching gifts :p

Oh, and if that bust of Churchill needs a safe place, I would be willing to put it in a place of respect in my own house if it already hasn’t made it back to Britain.

I just checked my location, and being 40 plus miles out of Philadelphia, I figured I was safe…..was I wrong. Thankfully, they stopped about a mile from my house. Are they going to continue doing this until every last bit of the earth is photographed?

And does anyone know if there is a schedule of sorts for the photo shoots? I’d Like to know, I want to put a large sign in the front yard with a catchy phrase like “NO TO PEEPING” or something like that.

I had heard that some protesters of the original “protesters” (Muslims against the army)got locked up thought for some reason, is there any truth behind this?

I mean, as jonsey say, free speech is exactly what it is…..unless these anti-protestor protestors physically harmed one of the originators, whats the problem? I would love to hear from my English cousins, I might be a redneck, but i still hold Great Britain in high reguard when it comes to international relations.
