My father was originally from Trinidad and Tobago, and his parents worked on a sugarcane farm. When he was young he used to love watching the crop-dusting aircraft (usually ex-US WW2 vintage) spray the fields.

When I was 10 he took me to an airshow after we moved to new york. There, I had bought a book on WW2 a/c (my 1st aviation book) and I was thrilled to meet WW2 vets who flew the Liberator. I asked them to autograph the section of the book with on the Liberator, and they told me war stories. I was absolutely fascinated

I have a several questions

When is the Gorshkov expected to be fully inducted (operationalized) into the InN? Is the Gorshkov going to be called “Gorshkov” or will there be an Indian name for it?

When is the 29Ks going to be inducted? Will the full wing be ready by the time Gorshkov is inducted?

When will the Indian built carriers be inducted?

Will India’s current 29s be upgraded to the K standard (this “MKI” version)? I read somewhere that the Indians were adamant that the 29Ks for the Gorshkov should have the BARS radar. Is this going to happen or will it likely be the Zhuk radars? How does the Zhuk compare to Bars?

When will India’s Naval Combat Aircraft be inducted? Will the Gorshkov see a complement of these a/c as well?
