    You have the main ones.

76 Sqn. I think you have the “Black Panthers” and “Red Diamonds” in the wrong order.
    Perhaps : 76 Sqn. “Red Diamonds” (1961–63?)
    76 Sqn. “Black Panthers” (1964-66?)

“Black Panthers” until 1966 I think, when the Sqn re-equipped with Mirage.

78 Wing in Butterworth also had a team, made up I believe of two 3 Sqn and two 77 Sqn pilots, and without a name. This would have been early 1960s.

The 2OCU “Marksmen” may have gone until 1969, after which all the Sabres were clumpted in 5OTU, which did not form a team.

After that, the first Mirage team – 77 Sqn “Deltas” – formed in late 1970 for the RAAF 50th Anniversay airshows in March 1971.

Australia received its first F-111 aircraft — a replacement for the F-100, F-101 and F-105 that could operate at speeds exceeding Mach 2, at altitudes up to 60,000 feet, and in all weather conditions — in July 1968. A full fleet was in operation by June 1973.

Although the first RAAF F-111C flew in 1968, the first six aircraft did not reach Australia until June 1973. The full fleet of 24 were delivered by the end of 1973. FOC would have been achieved in 1974.
A further 4 F-111As were later received as attrition replacements, and 15 F-111Gs were acquired in 1994 to extend the life of type of the fleet until 2010, then 2020, then 2012, and finally 2010.

Is this AWACS the first recorded “kill” for an F-5?

    They’re J-8s, unsure of mark – probably FINBACK B.
