Send an email to the engineering workshop at Old Warden. As they specialise in this period of aviation they may possibly have some useful information for you.
Aircraft parts is good, as a seller eBay is always slow over the summer holidays so don’t despair. For maximum exposure just make sure the item is listed for a period of 10-30 days dependant type of listing i.e. auction or BIN (Buy it now). If choosing a 10 day auction ensure it covers 2 weekends when eBay viewing is going to be its busiest. Also think about having your listing ending in the evenings when most people are logged on after work. Ensure you open your listing out to international bidders that way you get maximum exposure around the world. With a bit of strategic thought you will give your item the best possible chance to sell.

Thanks for the updates everyone, sounds a very promising up and coming venue. Good to hear about stuff being available which hasn’t come to market before. Looks like everyone went home happy!
I too had to give this one a miss, any reviews from anyone who attended? would be interested to know how this aerojumble was.
Looking through the list of attendees (via the above link) it looks like the best day to attend is the Saturday as this has the most cockpits attending ??
Howard do you know what Mark the Shackleton is which is attending? I seem to recollect a Mk1 which attended some years back, wonder if it’s the same one?
Thanks for the advice Farlamairframes, very much appreciated.
I have heard alot about this event and out of curiosity may well attend this year just to see the diversity of what is available on the continent. Does anyone know when this years event will take place ? And any tips or recommendations for attending this event ?
B17 control yoke on eBay – item number 153050103988
Wyvernfan – Well the usual mixture of stalls selling aviation books, aircraft models, airline paraphernalia, aircraft parts and wreckology (incl German wrecks). Instruments both WWII and mainly post war, a few metal and wooden propellers, grips, military clothing and deactivated weapons, aircraft wheels, one stall had a few large EE Lightning fuselage panels including a couple of Lightning fuselage spines, also a large section of Vickers Viscount panel bearing the registration number and other bits and pieces including a large chunk of Shorts Stirling from a wreck (don’t ask me what part of the aircraft it was from!). Counting from memory maybe 15-16 aviation related stalls were present and about the same again if not a little more of automobila stalls.
Thumbs up for Kenley aerojumble, certainly progressing well for a fledgling aerojumble. Probably double the stalls of last year and well attended with punters, albeit a fair few would have been autojumblers as well. Great day out, weather perfect, another aerojumble event at Kenley will be held on 7th October 2018.
Just bumping this thread up to remind people of the Kenley aerojumble this Sunday 3rd June 2018.
Good news, I wonder if it will eventually be painted in KLM colours ?
Original Grumman centre caps are few and far between in availability no doubt due to them being a rather attractive centre cap. Next best option would be a replica, try this guy he has in the past produced reproduction Grumman centre caps, although he is not currently advertising any, I’m sure if he gets enough enquiries he will run up another batch, his eBay ID seller is :bjahih85
