Always fancied going but never have, please let us know how you got on and what was available, any pics of stalls would be interesting. Happy hunting,
Contact ASI at Kemble they do exactly this sort of stuff especially 737 cockpits. Their details can be found after doing a quick google search. I was also at Bournemouth 2 weeks back and a number of 737’s were being axed or awaiting the chop, not sure who does the salvage work at Bournemouth?
No surprises on the yoke price, lovely item, top tier stuff!
From my experience of previous visits to aerojumbles the answer is yes, anything aviation related.
This is the type of item you dream about coming across on an aerojumble stall or in the shop window of an charity shop! Well dream on (myself included).
Remember that quite often with instrument panels the original instrumernts do not remain. It is not uncommon for previous owners to fill in gaps with any instrument that fits. Therefore the instruments already fitted may not necessarily be your reference point as to what the panel is from.
isn ‘t 20,000RPM for jet engines?
Sorry to have missed this one, anyone care to give a debrief on what was up for sale and what was acquired?
I suppose the biggest factor to organising any such event is the weather, which obviously is out of control of the organisers hands.
I am looking forward to this years events, for me personally a factor in pulling me to the event is when we get updates weeks prior as to who’s coming along, how many stalls have been pre booked and what may be available for sale. (A tactic employed by Tangmere1940 in the past which has worked for me and is good marketing).
Surprisingly the Anson wheels are one of the few WWII aircraft that don’t hold their prices very well. Their counterpart the Airspeed Oxford does marginally better probably because of the similarity to the Mosquito yoke.
Thought I would give this site a plug, they’ve had a few grips and control wheels passed through their hands in the past. Only problem is they don’t post out of America.

Very over whelming reading this article, tears of joy and emmotion over came me for the great leader.
Always thought the Ilyushin 62 was a fine looking machine, I miss them as well as the other Russian Machinery from the British Skies. Having said that it appears that the only remaining visitor to the UK skies now appears to be the mighty TU-95 Bear.
Sorry haven’t heard about this but wouldn’t surprise me if it did. i know that they asked a passing Lockheed Constellation (possibly the MATTS Connie) to do a fly past a decade or so when it was flying over to Duxford. There’s always been a keen grass roots interest in aviation at Manchester and it wouldn’t surprise me that if anything of interest was overhead that they would ask for “fly by”. Perhaps some local spotters could clarify?
Avro Anson control column, Mk1 Canadian I guess?

Plenty of Anson parts. Wonder if there are enough parts to build an Avro Anson?
The Comet seats may be of interest for the Air France Comet at DH Museum?
