I went there the other day, where has the Dak nose originated from?

Also what has happened to the Bucc cockpit? it was a rushed visit so I will conceed that it may have been placed else where?

The BA Tristar sim cockpit has always in my opinion been out of place, could well do with a swap with an exhibit from Cosford which already has some airliner exhibits.

If he plays his cards right he will get a third knocked off for good behaviour within the HMP system.
Spending time watching his colour TV or playing the X-box in his cell will make the time pass real quick for him. There will be plenty of support for him once he is released, ALWAYS remember he has rights too……….

On the flip side of the coin there is very little support or public funding for the victims family, remember that the victim doesn’t need any rights because he is already dead.

    Welcome to BRITAIN 2010!

I’m not meaning to start a rant here, but tommy, your threads are pointless to anyone barring yourself, your lack of manners are quite frankly rude, and you have been asked numerous times to stick to one thread – what is your problem?

I’ve tried to refrain from commenting, but I come here quite regularly and am sick to death of seeing your posts littering the CA forum. Whatever happened to your own thread, anyway?

Tommy, Mr Newcastle is right, some threads are pointless such as the value of the £ and wheather you will be getting a bus or taxi to your aircraft from the airbridge at whatever airport etc.

It’s all about quality rather than quantity. I realise that your threads are important to you and that you are enthusiastic, if you want any questions answered such as seating arrangements, wind directions for runways on particular days in the future or registration numbers of flights from 20 years back, then why not start one thread off, I know people will be willing to bend over backwards to help you, but to flood the forum with valueless questions which radomly come to mind is not so good.

Further to your last reply everyone is entitled to comment otherwise there is no point in submitting questions to this forum.

In the mean time I will look through my old Manchester Airport timetables and try to answer some of your old passenger aircraft flight questions.

also what the seats like are they leather ?

The seats recline at 35 degrees, there are floor stools below the front seats which comfortably fit a size 11 shoe or lower, the outer fabric to the seat is colour fast nylon and should be washed at below 40 degrees, the tray in front of the seat is 18 inches by 13 inches and should fit a plastic detached meal tray from the attendants trolley not exceeding 16 inches by 12 inches, the circumfrance of any drinking vessel served to you will not exceed 3.45 inches in diameter at any one time. Most of the seating and passenger tray’s are made in compilance with British safety standard 445 and comply with schedules 766 i) and iii) of the European safety regulations sub paragraphs iiv) and iixx). I hope his helps with the information you are looking for and answers the questions you were seeking. Have a plesant trip Tommy, thank goodness there are forum members who can answer all these questions!

Ahhh…. I miss those early morning and late evening flights of the Air France Caravelle to Pier 3 at Manchester Airport.

Last Caravelle I saw was about 5 years ago at Istanbul airport aviation museum, may still be there?? Non airworty of course.

Great to see the link for the preserved (ground running Caravelle) in Sweden, hope one day it will do fast taxi/runway runs for enthusiast!

For any Caravelle fans out there, there’s a great DVD (cockpit flight) that has been produced on the Gabon airways Caravelle, also contains footage of the HS748 they operated landing in some pretty remote strips. The DVD can be often found on ebay.
