How is it known for years if most information on T50 is classified. First serial Pakfa should have each engine rated at 34,000lb+ vs 27,600lb each for Su 27 and Pakfa has higher wing sweep, smaller vertical stabilizers and even better aerodynamics than the Su 27, this means almost certainly that Pakfa maximum speed will be faster than that of Su 27. But Pakfa speed will almost certainly be auto limited to not exceed Su 27 max speed to aviod excesive heat damage.

Also is Su 35 capable of supercruising, I have heard some conflicting info on this?

T-50 doesn’t have higher top speed than Su-27. It has been known for years.

In case of war and and its secondary role some Yak 130 seems like a good fighter to deploy as low altitude fighter primarily to destroy enemy helicopters, ground attack aircraft and transort aircraft. If it had a small radar and IRST it whould be quite good at this role.

Yes tons and tons of energy, imagine the acceleration the T50 with its sleek aerodinamics and almost 70,000lb of thrust, Mach 0.8-Mach 1.2 in maybe 18 seconds at 15,000ft
T50 top speed should also be higher than the Su27, maybe about Mach 2.5+ 1,800 mph+ but that could damage the RCS paint and other components from overheating at those speeds.
Tier 2 engines currently under development will increase the thrust and performance even further.

Aren’t the T50 AL 41F1 engines slightly larger in diameter than the Su35 AL 31 pattern 117S engines? As the AL 41F1 engines produce more thrust?

    Man, those engines look huge.
PAK-FA is going to have butt loads of excess power.

I am seriously in love with this bird. Flanker is boring compared to T-50 😀

F-35C needs 104 seconds to accelerate from Mach 0.8 to Mach 1.2 that abyssmally bad and more than 4 times slower than Mig 29 acceleration. Based on specs Pakfa should probably acceletate even better than the Mig29.
Is F35 acceleration even slower than Mig19?
Also whats the acceleration data under same parameters for Su27,Mig31,Su15,Mig23bis and Mig21bis?

How come,is Ka 60 experiencing development problems? Didn’t the Russian VVS order a decent amount of Ka 60 recently?

AW139 has a full order book, Ka-60 has none, that is why.

Yes but it whould be perfect for J20. How come that recognition organization does not give codenames to chinese warplanes?
Russia should also start assigning codenames to foregn opposition warplanes I suggest the following assigning bird names to US/Nato fighter warplanes like
    F15 Chicken
    F16 Quail
    F18 Duck
    F22 Turkey
    F35 Pigeon
    Typhoon Vulture
    Rafale Ostridge
    😀

Fatass would be cruel and unjust considering it has the slimmest profile of all the 5th gen fighters.

Whats the turn rate data for Mig 29C under same conditions?

Sustained turn rate of clean aircraft @15.000ft , 50% fuel

    – Mirage 2000-5 : 17 deg/s @ M 0.7, 6 Gs
    – F-16C Block 50 : 18 deg/s @ M 0.75, 7 Gs
    – Rafale : 19 deg/s @ M 0.7, 7 Gs

    Su-27 is said to have 22.5deg/s @ M 0.7

Anymore info on these mishaps? Is there more info on the Nov 15,2012 F22 crash and what was its cause?

IIRC there were 3 F22 mishaps in the month of november 2012, one crash & two damaged F22s.
