Yep, a few year spent in the old bar side stand
I was looking at their site & press releases & can’t seem to see a clear list of appearances on each day. With timeslots would be even better.
So the prospect of 2 twin seat 109s then?

And the Wattisham appeal

No Doolittle raid B25s? As for oddest transported aircraft on a carrier must surely be HMS Reaper heading to the US in 1945.
What an amazing sight. Not normally a big fan of pre-ww2 aircraft but that pair of BE2’s look stunning.
I was at the chinese / chippy at Rendlesham the other day and noticed that their parish newsletter features the Grace Spitfire on the cover. Doesn’t strike me that locals are against it. Unfortunately ill-informed people are sharing this facebook page & website about. I saw the Cold War Museum commented on this too. Good luck to them with the application.
I went with a school trip for a Saturday night sleep over there last year. Fantastic experience for the kids – group sessions on the floor under the city, sleeping in the space section & waking up with black arrow rocket hanging over your head! I didn’t spend as much time in the aircraft section as I normally would, but I wasn’t there for me that time. I always find something new & wish I had read up on it before going.
Scampton must have a longer runway than Cosford – future home for the likes of the vc 10 that couldn’t land there?
How about Mig 25 / F15?
I presume the 262 is a flying replica? One photo shows a 262 with what look like original engine exhausts
Lots of discussion about the SA certification, but in the US XS422, I think, would fly under FAA ‘Experimental’ certification. Is there / would there ever be scope for an approach like this here?
Hope this helps http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-25057532
Pretty sure it on the old Ipswich Airport site.
Saw a body of a single prop engined aircraft, stripped of wings, tail, engine and canopy. All over black paint scheme with raf markings and on the back of a lorry heading east bound on the a14 near bury st edmunds. Looked to be in good condition. With so many bits removed and driving alongside it I couldn’t quite make out what it was.
