Fred – fantastic shots! The levels look great given the difficult weather conditions. Some nice spray, too!

    Basically nothing!

    That’s a shame!

I was planning on getting the train up from Newcastle tomorrow, but I shall probably give it a miss if it’s all going to go to PIK instead…

Thanks for your help though guys.

Fantastic shots Dan! Looks like you have had some lovely weather down there recently. Sadly the Norwegian and Germanwings logojets eluded me when I was down a few weeks ago.

Interesting to see the orange cone (EI-DLF shot) is still where it is!

    Great stuff,

Hi all, thank you for your continued feedback, much appreciated!

Nice shots, what’s the significance of the PIA tail

Here’s some blurb from the PIA website which is worth a read – http://www.piac.com.pk/PIA_About/pr_14march06.asp

Great shots! Shame about the PIA service, it’s the same story at Stansted sadly.

D-ADIC must be have been on the STN-GLA run on Wednesday, here she is at Stansted during the afternoon –

Hi all – thanks for your comments and feedback

Excellent work Adam! Can’t believe you caught the 707, didn’t have a clue it was due. What time was it? I must have narrowly missed it whilst driving to work at the terminal at 16:15.

Where were you taking those approach shots from, somewhere on the old A120? It seems as though you have taken that first MD-11 shot from the fence opposite the long-stay car park…did you not get moved on with your car?

Hi Dan, she arrived at about 1330. The sun was quite high by then as you can see in the shot, but I think the haze worked in my favour and masked that a little bit!

Yup, the approach shots were taken along the old A210. There’s a layby where you can park just opposite the rental car and Stansted Audi garages. As for the other side of the approach, near the long stay car park, I normally park elsewhere and then cycle the rest, but I know the Hilton will let you park in their car park if you take a ticket at the barrier.

Will you be around to catch it leaving tomorrow?

    Adam
