What an idiot! Like an airline has a spare 10000 Euros to give out in competitions lying about on their flights…
Tommy… the expert route planner. :diablo:
Was Airworld I think?!
Thought they leased at least LSAJ and CGET, Lukey?
My best are.
1) L1011 (Smooth, comfertable and still should be flying)
2) 737-800 (Nice aircraft to fly on especially the Thomson ones)
3) 757-200 (Best take off sound there is)
4) 777-200 (Nice roomy modern planes)
5) A330-200 (Nice large aircraft)My worst are
1) A300 B4 (Very cramped)
2) A321 (Never will be the 757)
3) 767-200 (Too cramped and badly layed out)
4) md83 (Too long and too thin)
5) 767-300 (The 2-4-2 on charter flights is awfully cramped)
As warkrk says, not many of these reasons have anything to do with the a/c, if the A300 B4 had a private jet layout would it feel ‘very cramped’?
Same as summer 2009. A320 CFM as the CFM copes better on the longer sectors out of LBA.
We get both the CFM and V2500 series out of LBA. Tommy why on earth are you asking now about which A320’s are going to be based, it’s February, the summer doesn’t start until May.
Would be nice to see a 757-200, but the A320 seems ideal for the moment.
Used to, good old BBC News getting the facts right as ever…
What an amazing selection of shots from a beautiful location. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
There’s no justification for calling them Flymaybe, we have one of the best punctualities in the UK considering we fly over 81,000 flights, with an average delay of 10 minutes. This fairs better than any airline with over 35,000 flights per year bar bmi who’s average delay is nearly 9 minutes.
We call you Flymaybe all the time, but only affectionately. I like FlyBe, have some great crews as well :).
Quorn tastes like blank paper. It’s as much use as a blokes nipple.
You may as well cut out the middle man and throw it straight down the bog.
However, I can understand how veggies need to be reminded that meat is the correct food for the human race. But, toleration of all tastes is quite perfik.
What a fantastic assesment of Quorn. 😀

I think you will find that most of the flights are not exclusively charters for TCX, they are existing Jet2 flights with seats for Thomas Cook on there. Helps Jet2 fill the flights and Thomas Cook Holidays offer more flights/destinations.
Good choice of airline! Two from me, the first of which no doubt be remembered by a couple of fellow forum members as being a particularly wet day!
Oh yes! That’s where my second shot came from. Loving this thread, but it’s making me want to go back to Amsterdam!
Nice, was quite a regular occurance over the summer, and like you say with the WX lately i’m sure there’s plenty of TCX a/c off schedule!
Diverted in last night, and positioned back out today.
