She is actually on loan to the RAF believe it or not. When Shawbury wanted to replace its Whirlwind Gate Guard they had no Wessex with RAF history in a postion to place on guard duties. THeyve borrowd this Wessex from a civvie company. Was flown in under a Chinook. And promptly named Aries in memory of the navigational school Lanc that was similarly named.

Bit time consuming Bex. Be easier to shift through W&R book. Net has most websites wondering if a gate guardian site that lists them. Evening by the way.

ONe of my museum friends is a big fan of Helen Tempest. Have you one of her to post. PLus im int in why he keeps raving about her as I havnt a clue what she looks like.

If your a model maker you can try the Aeroclub kit. A mixed offering of white metal and vacform parts. It looks pretty good once completed. Unsure if they still produce it. If not then try a specialist kit dealer such as king kit. By the way th ekit is in 1/48th scale

I have the perfect punishement for them once they are caught.

Community service. In Iraq. Rather than cleaning streets in our country lets send them abroad to do their punishment. Maybe not so may of these low lifes will need a return ticket.

We wont even mention to you then the vary rare Supermarine Swift sat outside a militray surplus dealers store (I think thats the store type its outside) deteriorating away.

Oh if I won the lottery what would I buy. Would have to be a two seat Spitfire. Cant beat a Merlin hun.

Peter,

Apologies for not responding to your message earlier in the thread about helping with my posting of pics. I dindt see it until last night when went into the thread once Rob had posted them.

I did try sending am IM but your box was full.

To be honest Im not sure of the whole story of whats happened Peter. Ive only heard things from other people around and about so for the risk of saying something thats not true I will leave others to answer that one for you.

He didnt get passed the mag until Sat Les. Unfort I live in the real world and have to work during the week. Although saying that I have a week of next week and will be up doing some graft with Rob. Be good to meet you if your around.
