Or if its G-FURY your after
I got my one last week.
Looks lovely next to the Spencer Flack Sea Fury also in their range.
I remember this airframe in a Flypast magazine circa 1988?
It featured a colour page showing a number of Forts and Fighters in differing condition at a museum in Oz. She has come on well since then.
A Stirling (maybe I should change that) effort by all involved.
I didnt realise she had gone to MAM Bruce.
Have you any pictures you can share of her as she is now?
Can you be tempted to pop the suez stripes back on? :p
Why not get some plasterboard?
Much quicker and less messy.

Cheers for the help and advice given guys.
As ever much appreciated.
Only thing I really knew of Sandy Topen was of the lovely Vampire T.11 & Suez striped Venom he had on the display circuit. I used to lust after them as a child.
I used to have that video. Was rather good from what I remember as well.
I always thought that MH434 looked a little tail heavy in those sequences as though she hadnt been trimmed out properly, or maybe she was slowed right down for the camera ship?
Although as a non-pilot, and as I havn’t seen the footage for many years Im ready to stand corrected. 😀
How do the tailwheel doors hang if the tailwheel is locked down for flight.
Ive seen many pictures which look as though the doors can be locked around the tailwheel leg as is suggested in this picture.
If that can be done the picture that Mark 12 posted has the tailwheel doors in an open position. And look at the ridge created by the doors been open towards the rudder hinge line.
This picture of a BBMF Spitfire also looks as though the doors can be closed with the leg down.
I seem to remember a book about the BBMF a few years ago featuring comments from the then Officer Commanding.
He seemed to fear for the Flights long term survival and that powers from “within” were looking to rid the MOD of the responsibility ie sell the aircraft off to private owners.
There was a team that operated overall Red Sea Hawks, their name escapes me at the minute though.
There’s a pic of her on http http://www.demobbed.org.uk
Unsure how recent it is though.
ie an RC model? if you want ive got some plans for a giant scale one i could photocopy for you and post?
Ben
I wasnt aware anyone did scale R/Cplans for the S6.
Can you tell me who they are by Nashio and give me some more details please.
If its scale drawings you require Ollie I believe that those who publish RCM&E modelling magazine do a set.
