All 3 Comores SF.260W aircraft were never delivered. The 3 were long term in storage at Gosselies, Belgium, then returned to the factory at Vergiate for overhaul and re-sale to the civilian market.
D6-ECD became OO-XDD, N24FD; 21 Feb 1990 lost in fatal accicent Agoura, CA. USA.

Might there be any photo’s of Katanga Air Force Dornier Do-28A-1 aircraft ?
They had a very short operational live in the field.

MFI-15s GS-P6 and GS-P7 were in Sierra Leone, not on Seychelles.

    thanks hendriksf260!

Do you know how many Do-28 Angola received?

    TIA,.

As far as I know, only one aircraft went to Angola.

Another one went years later to the US to a private owner, and the remaining IDFAF Do28 fleet is still in Israel.
An aircraft broker tried to sell 5 aircraft some years ago, but failed.

In 2014 the aircraft were seen parked near a skydiving club at Habonim, awaiting their fate.

Why not give the Northrop T-38 design a complete review, to modern standard, like was done with the C-130.
And built 400 or so brand new T-38 trainers.
With luck this 2nd generation (year 2020) Talons can give the Air Force another 60 year of service

I wonder if this Dornier Do28B has been used much in Angola since its arrival.

Mali SF.260W TZ-412 construction number looks like “583” on the construction number plate. And not “533”.
The aircraft appears to have been assembled by the Tamanhint A/C Center in Libya.
Libyan SF.260WL 545 has a same still construction number plate, but not painted over.

Great to see a Myanmar Pilatus PC-9. Very little known about their Pilatus PC-7 and PC-9 fleet. If they are still in service and how many.

The blue main landing gear doors fade in with the blue flaperons and blue wing underside. Two former Libyan Air Force SF.260WL’s were delivered as gift in September 2010, after Independance parade . Serials reported as TZ-411 and TZ-412.

Yup, you’re right, AS-202 it ain’t. MLG, tail fin root and air inlet look different.
Looks like SF-260, even if the absence of the MLG covers is somewhat deceptive.

It there more information available of SF.260 “BAF-2134” ?? When and where ?
    New Burundi serial numbers ??
Photo of 9U-ZRD is mine, taken some years ago in Italy, plus 9U-ZRC.
9U-ZRA and 9U-ZRB were both remaining SF.260W aircraft in Burundi
