    Haiti received four S.211 aircraft, serials 1284 – 1287.
The four jettrainers were sold in 1990 to an American aircraft trader
and shipped to the USA. Becoming N48SM, N49SM, N60SM and N70SM.

In 1993 two S.211 aircraft were sold to the Government of Singapore, serials 338 and 339.
N48SM remained in the USA and is currently offered for sale.
N852TC, former N60SM, is now based in Germany.

Any confirmed tie-ups with the serials 338, 339 and their former N49SM, N70SM and/or Haiti serials is most welcome.

Only of Haiti 1285 are images known.

The fatal accident of the C-130 happened on 17 June 2002 over Walker, CA.
C-130A, N130HP, suffered an inflight failure of the right wing, shortly followed by the left wing, during a fire fighting mission.
The three man crew died in the accident.

If remembered correctly, the company Sky Warriors stopped operating after one of it’s Beech T-34 aircraft suffered a structural brake-up in flight, resulting in two fatalities.
All civilian registered T-34 aircraft were grounded thereafter for a long period of time.

no, sorry it is an earlier design then the Piaggio P-149, it is the Piaggio P-148. To my knowledge only used by the Italian Air Force and a few to the Somali Air Corps.
The bigger P-149 is equiped with a nose gear, and was operated by the air forces of West-Germany, Tanganyika, Nigeria.

Where/when was this photo taken ?

the color scheme of SF.260D N401FD is completly fantasy, that of SF.260D N407FD “MC04” “607” is based on a scheme worn by a Spitfire.
Both SF.260D’s were never in any air force.

Other SF.260’s flying in a more realistic military colorscheme are
N406FD SF.260D in as fake Belgian Air Force “ST-06”, yellow c/s.
D-EDUR SF.260 in as fake Belgian Air Force “ST-26”, camo c/s.

    regards,
    hendrik
