Well throughout history Pakistan has been a vital ally to the Americans and the West; Pakistan took in most of the Afghan refugees, and had to absorb all of the problems they brought. At the same time Pakistan has done its share in the War on Terror – but what level of aid did Pakistan get for its troubles? I do not recal Egypt sending in 80K troops on a hostile border – but they got more aid from the U.S than Pakistan did,
Are you suggesting ***** were ally’s of US not out of expectation of freebie but pure inherent goodness of heart and hatered of commies? 😀 . Pakistan had to accept the poor wretches because it helped in creating them, it did no one any favour. Pakistan has helped war on terror??? It is the source for all sorts of terror and you expect to be paid for self cleansing? Why exactly are you proud about sending troops to your own border? If I remember its the first time PAk forces have ever actually managed to have some sort of control on a rather lawless land mass which was a part of pakistan only on papers. You don’t want to send troops there just move out, I am sure US/NATO can handle the border and whats inside it.
So tell me, Pakistan has just gone through a massive unpreventable earthquake, it is surrounded by terrorists/militants on its West and an archrival looking to disable it on its East. All it asks is for some compensation for its troubles – and bang we have Western folks who probably never thought of anyone else attacking Pakistan. BTW, India is a growing economy and it is generating wealth; but their destitute population is growing – while Pakistan’s is decreasing.
UN and other international agencies would beg to differ. Pakistan is the only country where poverty level shot up to 36% despite comming up with its own definition of who lay below the poverty line. Pakistans economy is still in shambles despite all the cook books and inflated figures the govt churns out. Even a decent pakistani paper like dawn is sufficiently exposing the govts hollow claims.
If you haven’t noticed – ANZA is complaining – not a lot of Pakistanis are, and the Pakistani gov’t isn’t. At least differentiate between a forum jocky and a real government official – genius. BTW, maybe you should tell the Indian caucus to stop complaining about the F-16 deal if these aircraft will not make a difference; and maybe Israel should stop using its air force against terrorists – since one does not need them, apparently.
Really!!! Since you hang out at the deaf and dumb forum I would have thought you would know anza is not the only one complaining. What is funnier is that the only response they seem to come up with it is to conclude that the unproven J-10 is probably much better 😀 !!! Why exactly would India caucus lobby against a democracy (israel) and draw parallels between israel and a tin pot for rental dictatorship (pakistan)?
