HI
Just to clarify on a bit of civil law.
If anybody has any doubt whatso ever that monies are being obtained through deception they are entilted to bring it to the attention of the police as well as the local trading standards.

Hello Everyone,
Sorry if this has been asked before, having never been to any cockpit fest nor know anyone who has so unable to ask anybody this question.
Those that take their cockpits /collection/project in progress to the cockpit fest do they get paid or do they have to pay the organisers to show them? also are the cockpiters allowed to set up a small aerojumble table alongside their cockpits/collection/project in progress.

Jason
HI
I know that the RAFM have these and can supply photo-copies far cheaper than the TNA.

Hi
This company produce the parts what you seek as well as being the same company who produced the 1:1 scale “airfix” model for James May, which is now at RAFM Cosford

Hello gentlemen,
Thank you both for replying and comments on the best paints to use.
I am going to buy a copy of the scale modelling step by step guide for beginners, looks exactly what I need as its been so many years since my last model and have much to relearn.
Paul..thank you for the heads up on the britmodellor website, looks fantastic and will certainly be joining up.
Derekf…Thank you for comments on the 1/24th scale spitfire kit, certainly sounds that buying the MkVb kit is better than buying the Mk1, as might be able to make either version, though may end up buying the Hurricane in the same scale just for the kidney shape Exhaust stacks to put on the mk1 spitfire, this is what I did on my last build and used the fishtail type on a Mk 2 hurricane model afterwards. Always thought that the merlin engine model in the Hurricane was far better in both detail and fit than the original merlin in the spitfire, did airfix ever change it?
Picked up a copy of the Modellers datafile by SAM publications on the merlin spitfire, only had it a few days but finding its very interesting and useful, can you recommend any further reading?
Having thought about it I think it would be best if I cut my teeth on the 1/72 spitfire as like here

Before embarking back into 1/24, suppose its a bit like riding a bike.:D

It would be fantastic to hear a recording of the talk down next year.

“I expect they wonder why they bothered. It is a source of wonderment to me how the more questionable contributors to these forums can remain silent and without apparent condemnation. They know who they are. “
John,
I think you have voiced the thoughts of many.

Hi Mike
I believe an old friend of yours has a casing with remains of its mounting in the Birmingham area.

Fly.Buy
The switch that you seek was originly used and still is as a fuel contents push button on Spitfires from 1938 onwards, hence the price.
Occasionly you see ones on Evilbay but not much cheaper.
