Yes and they were clever enough to make a head on approach in the little copter and although it was gusting quite strong he brought the machine in like it was a calm moment.(people who are good at things make it look real easy):)
Looks like you don’t need it either, good shots..cheers:)
Good to see another reply to this thread and you seem to have outlined some good points and pointed out something I think V1 was talking about in the atomic particle section. We managed to split the thing in the 50s so goodness knows what a more advanced set of beings are capable of in experimenting in this area.Who knows a super set of beings may have cloned a whole load of “Einsteins” years ago while we still celebrate dolly the sheep.
Imagine the advances this sort of experiment could have produced and strange objects in the sky become a reality.I read an interesting book a couple of years ago by “Tim Matthews” called “UFO Revelation”ISBN-0-7137-2733-0 and its a good read,a little struggle to get into at first but stick with it and stuff comes together eventually. We have a long way to go anyway at being masters of engineering as I haven’t come across a tea pot that doesn’t dribble:rolleyes::) so in terms of believing UFO’s exist is beyond most peoples comprehension anyway.:) Thanks for looking(on the verge of silver city society)

Good set but the meteor topside is a classic image..:)
Anna nice shots anyway, and I’m sure you are the fastest to post on any site.:)
Missed today but there are other times.
Never seen or heard of one of those extra thingies but the photos were nicely taken outside the new buildings.:)
I dont know what it is but the smoke seems to bring the whole photo alive and the smell of rubber and brakes squealing are activated from the sensory memory bank instantly.”At least it is with me” but I have an over active imagination.:)good photo VeeOne..cheers..JB
Hi VeeOne..Thanks for a very in depth explanation and your 2 photos showing things in and out of focus with relativity to what is viewed in the depth of field at the time.As to what the object might be in the second photo can be anyone’s guess but I will agree with you that there are things about that clearly(forgive the pun)do not come across as crystal clear when they have been photographed and this has been the playground for the the rule of ridicule.:)
Anyway your points of view are very interesting and it has been something different to talk about aside from the normal aircraft topics.Apologies to the site staff for the thread having wandered off course somewhat and thanks for moving it.Getting back to things more recognisable your look back to the past photos have been a treat veeOne..cheers..john.b:)

A good set and wouldn’t mind seeing some of that stuff at Norwich..cheers..JB:)
Superb set,Transall and 2 F1s well caught..cheers:)
Cheers chaps,:) although light a bit “iffy” it was the first time I clearly caught one putting the anchors on and getting a bit of smoke on the go.I know I seem to have missed some interesting copter shots, especially the orange hughes 500 and the 109:mad:.Still there will be more no doubt..cheersJB.
I noticed some of these on “EGSH” site and they seem pretty sharp, nice catches especially with the 717 and the Canadian learjet .Hope to get over there next week and might even see you about Duxford if you go to it.If you need any info on location’s at Duxford “PM”me and I’ll point some out .cheers..JB.:)
Hi VeeOne….I thought this thread had reached a natural conclusion and hadnt looked at it for a while.Anyway thanks for the reply and your slant on the spot above the aircraft.
The sun was at the back of me and am quite willing to accept that this must be some sort of light abnormality or small planet but because of its lack of clarity in giving it any look of substance it is easily dismissed as an aborition of some sort.
However I have since tried to create something similar and its very difficult to do.Is there anyone out who is clever enough to simulate this affect without cheating by photo-shopping and being able to send a photo displaying the result.:)I would guess having looked at the last image I put in the density of hue/colour on the plane was similar to that of the ball/object.
I did notice your photo and these things do baffle the people involved and its a precarious thing to post these photos up, as immediately as they go up they are fair game for ridicule:eek::confused:but for those that it does happen to they will be the first to do exactly what we did.ha,ha.Thanks for looking..cheers..JB.
