Good to see some sort of reaction to the old thread and sadly not everyone’s cup of tea on an unlucky day so sorry to hear you had a bad day there 91 regal, never the less nice pic’s from your day.
I think these days any airshow has a risk with the public in it and there have been many times at Waddington with lots of American planes as visitors to the static with no problems occurring, with aircrew happy to attend as the photo can testify..http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000071.jpg 🙂 So here’s hoping with fingers crossed and a prayer on the wing of a good wind we can wind the clocks back to happier times as we” go back to the future” of how it should be.:confused::)

Hi Wiseman….Thankyou for taking time out to return the info I asked about on the glider and also for the list of exhibits.Seems as if it didn’t have such a good track record.Cheers….John.B:)

That was pretty mind blowing seeing this thread nearly one year old being resurrected just short of three weeks from the original start time.:)Posted by me in some deluded hope of someone in the right place might spot it and read it and perhaps ponder the thought of bringing the show back all in the good name of Anglo English/American relations.

We can only hope upon hope about one of our favourite air-shows that it may one day return in some format or other and boost the morale of a flagging air show world and its enthusiasts.:).its sad to think in the name of freedom we are just about losing everything we once thought was safe and free to use in them times when we took a lot for granted such as work, freedom of speech ,movement a trust in the banking world and the politicians.Even our photographic rights are in question now with an ever increasing focus on banning the hobby in a lot of areas.

So if things carry on much the way they do and we dont press for the old better ways we might do ourselves a favour by studying the people in Egypt and Libya in how to revolt against oppressive regimes that ban this activity we know as plane spotting in a democracy such as our own thats worth living for .:):)end of rant,ha,ha

A few more from the part time trucker, yes that was “trucker” who’s steady posts week by week show that sales of trucks aren’t top of people’s shopping lists these days.maybe after all these uprisings sales might take a turn for the better as I see plenty of them being set alight,so a few trips to Southhampton might be on the cards.Anyway before you lose interest here’s todays selection..:) http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/CNV00017.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/CNV00014.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000064.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000061.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000059.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000054.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/0000052.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/0000039.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000021.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000020-1.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000078.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000015-2.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000017-1.jpghttp://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff428/lordjohn1/000010.jpg
