    Spitfire Magic

Hey Wingnut….Some really good pics on the slide show. The Spitfire with the explosions going off behind is an absolute mint photo. It was well thought out and you must have been pleased to see the result,”its Stunning”.

I also like the way some of the photos were lined up for people to look at as when you pressed the arrow for the next photo and then the next they seemed to have a motion about them.Lastly if your not asleep by now the Harvard or Texan topshot pic’s are the bizz. Thanks for sharing your show which also sounds like a favourite cheese of mine.Cheers.:)

Hi Keith…. I missed this bunch somehow and again some good catches.PC 12 a hit for me its such an unusual design for a single prop job. Also the Raytheon HS125 a nice catch dropping in with the museum stuff below it makes a brill backdrop.

Is N60BM a shot from the canteen window?.Keep pressing the button and see you sometime up there…Cheers.JB.:)

Cheers Rab….just as a point of interest the last 3 were taken with a 3 mega pic is-si Canon compact and still beats my 8 mega pics for clarity. Its all beyond me but choose a Canon “is” compact if you have a choice.

You might have to charge the double A batteries more than you like but the trade off is the picture quality is second to none.See Ya cheers.:)

A couple for civilspotter to look at from 2005 and my visit was not long after the “Uiver” had its mishap at some small airshow in North Holland.I was informed and dont know if it was a reliable source that the incident was because of a prop strike. http://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/y322/billyjack_2010/southwoldtuesday035.jpghttp://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/y322/billyjack_2010/southwoldtuesday029.jpghttp://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/y322/billyjack_2010/southwoldtuesday026.jpg 🙂

Thanks one and all for looking and giving such a positive relpy, it felt like I’d won the jackpot on a one armed bandit getting some feedback so quickly.Yes I guess Keith and I both like our local but Cambridge is a bit of a hike on a regular basis.

I’ll try and get some photos from a trip I made in 05 to Den Helder,”EC” but every time I try to get the C.D to upload it makes everything freeze.:confused:I took the ramp one Keith when the French Alpha’s arrived on Wednesday pre the show.Regards and thanks to you all again.:)

Hi Keith….Nice shot and yes this year a bit vague to say the least. The “Reds”may even not stop at Norwich if they fuel and dye up at Marham after their mini display there.
Good luck tomorrow and mum,s the word with the new or old connection.Nod,nod wink wink no what a mean like.;):):)

    Hi stangman,
Thanks for remarks and I do suppose the 380 looks as if it’s overdosed on the old steroids.I wonder if the genisis was from a cross of types ranging between the fuselage of the Beluga and designers looking at the 747-300 which as you’ll know has quite a large upper deck.

Also the nose area on the 380 is’nt as shapely as your 747 but as life goes looks are’nt everything.I can only think what a nightmare it must be when boarding and alighting these big machines and can only think chaos must occur if two arrive close together at some small airport:confused:.

As for heads testing I think I’ll check mine soon as I’ve never spent so long on the compy in one session.Dont forget “Anyone who see’s a phyciatrist need’s their head tested”.Ha,Ha.:):):rolleyes:

Glad you liked the photos slicer and also that you have appreciated first hand what I was moaning about. The very last crowd photo was included to show how shoulder to shoulder the crowd line was at its max.

There must have been 40 to 50 people from front to back and this must have gone the whole way down the runway for half a mile at least,X’s this amount of people with the cost of £20 pound @ ticket and even take away a third on corporate hospitality and you still have a massive amount. So from this day alone they could afford to organise things a little better.

Its alright having little whizz kids telling them how to cut their cloth but you only need a “North Sea Ferry” moment where turnaround time was speeded up by someones bright idea to close the doors on the move and its curtains.I dont understand how companies can bang on about health and safety and chuck out the common sense life saving issues for cost, all a bit like putting new wallpaper on a rotting wall.

I know I go on but I dread to think if some old car making that crowded exit had set alight for one reason or another as there would have been no way a fire engine could have got to it as the place on Saturday was pandemonium and this scenario would have affected other cars.!!!Thanks anyway for pos feedback.:)
