More from my trip to F.I on Saturday and some looking a little samey but thats what you get with time on your hands when youve been back heeled from work for a day.Ha,ha.:).Something totaly different from aircraft and maybe a controversial talking point and it also deals with taking photographs or not being able to take photographs.
If the police think people who are in London taking photos of various sites around the city think this is an “iffy”situation then why dont they close all the photographic shops in london as they are supplying all potentail photographers with equipment that they dont want them to use.I read a lot about photographers rights in the A.P magazine and we are struggling in our society to carry out our hobby. We seem to be losing freedom to a demorcratic dictatorship whose political descisions will be handed over to the courts.Rant over I hope you like the photos especially while its legal to supply them.:)

Yes I agree with the first reply some lovely shots there,:).Were the crowds as bad as Saturday or would you be none the wiser anyway well done.
Thanks Anna, did you attend one of the public days by any chance?.
Grumpy gang
Thanks for looking and sending back some kind feedback, its a problem when youre bitten by the photo bug as the main mission for me anyway is to try and get something that I and other people like yourself will like.I’ve got a couple more but will sort them out when I get more time to myself.
Nothing too exciting though just some add ons.Cheers.John.B…..New member to the the “Grumpy Club” since 1951.Ha,Ha.:):rolleyes:
Did read some bluurb about this but still went in glass half full mode.Once bitten twice shy though.:).cheers John.B.
Cheers.:)
Brilliant catches Keith and have to say your persistance does you proud in being able to get the images most would miss and now count you as part of the “plane papparazzi” group.
By the way who makes the phenom? as its something I’ve not seen before and looks tailored to the downturn in the economy by its sheer size alone.look forward to more 0f your stuff.Cheers.JB.:)
Hello Keith,
Thanks for the moral support I was begining to think my rant sent everyone in the opposite direction. It was great to see the A380 close up as I’ve not seen this aircraft that near.
Believe it or not I tried to get the catalina above those roof shapes that look like waves which were the natural surround for a flying boat.I did try and get a lot of other shots but was knocked about that much that I took your advice keith about shots that dont work out and spent most of the week when I had a chance to sort out the good from the bad and deleted about half my shots.
For me the show has lost its magic and appeal to the mundane and mechanichal world of health and safety where one trick after the other is released to do its thing, shame they hadnt got the same interest for the massive crowd “paying” public.:)
typh and spit
Hello Semae….All your photos are top draw but the one that is so well caught is the typhoon looking as if its just inches above the spitfires wings.many will probably have seen the photo and maybes thought its some heat haze abnormality and missed what is a truly amazingly well caught image. Thanks for taking the time to share so many good shots with the f22 low take off shot being my second choice.:):)
The word MUOVIAMO must be a tour company or name of some organisation who claim they move italy or “who moves italia”.I went on a translation site and this is the worst I could make of it.:)
Couple of really nice photos so well done.Whats this jagged edge design on the rear of the outer engine housing unit?does it serve any economical or aerodynamical purpose?.
Just spotted this set from Old Buck Keith and really liked the close ups and the Dragon rapide top shot and full on front view of this iconic bi-plane.The little chippy from 8aew was at Hardwick on Sunday just gone.
Thanks for sharing and as Steve also says top draw stuff.:)
Hi….and thanks to Keith,Steve and Tarkey for replys.Glad you liked the heli pic Keith as you know there are some good opportunities up there but its just a case of luck if a couple of machines come together.
Glad that Tarkey was able to give some light on that weird looking aircraft to you Steve as I just caught it at Norwich on Saturday just gone and learned its name but forgot it by the time I got home and that it was hangared at Norwich.
Looks like you got your A/C in a couple of locations at last keith and was worth the wait for its rarity.(what does all the lettering at the back stand for)? Anyways good hunting.:) Sorry to reply a little late as I,ve been going round the M25 all day.:confused:
Well caught and patience is a virtue that pays off.
Got to agree about the A380, well caught or well planned its a brill action shot.
