One for you Blue_2 from a couple of years back and yes she’s a lovely aircraft and worth the time and effort.I hope someone might do a “Brunty” jump one day.:):rolleyes:
Thanks for the info on the show blue_2 and for the good comment from J.P.Vieira whose initials stand for my favourite aircraft.:cool:
A couple more to add which are new from Thursday and some have been reworked to see if they appear any better .:rolleyes::cool::confused:

second set with vipers and that vigilant is well caught, red bull pics are a treat and I do hope I get to see them sometime.
And also to Anna and look forward to your pics from farnbro when you have visited. Its sweltering here Norfolk area.:)
Thanks Benyboy and Blue_2 and yes it all indicates to a nice show happening at the weekend.Yes positive i.d on that being a globalhawk but am not sure its a real all singing and dancing machine!!.
Will Elvington be holding some sort of open day with flying this year?,I do like like the canteen with the old tea machine and that quaint atmosphere it has that makes you feel like its sitting down to dine in the past somewhere in the 40s.
Some corking photos there semae and the one that stood out to me was of the typhoon climbing out behind the spit.Next was the F16 shots and gnats as my favourites, the vipers looked a bit remaniscent of the old Red Pelicans and thanks for sharing your hard work.:cool:
Tarkey were you near this A/C on the day and thanks for positive comment mike. cheers.JB.:)

That was a good reply from Moggy C and a back up answer from your friend to confirm it as well, seems to have tied things up a bit as I didn’t have a clue either about the yellow diamond patch.
Its the beauty about these forums in that any research can now be undertaken a lot more quicker and with more depth than having to trawl around libraries all day long.
Could be possible as an answer Moggy and sounds as plausible as an educated guess as any going.
Hi Tarkey….Well as you can see I got them both but will take a shot in the dark about the question around the yellow diamond on the spit.dont take it as read but as an educated guess I think its something to do with the fact this spit is the oldest remaining one of its type in flying condition and only surviving one that served in the big show of the last century.
Its a shame there isnt much down in “fact”, about this point you make but this might raise the experts from a deep sleep to rectify any points with regards to the “yellow diamond patch” and why it is there.:confused::)
Hi tarkey….I got 1 shot of the Spit and Hurri together but was on my way out when they both turned up and was facing into the sun so it was a bit pointless collecting silouettes.
Anyhow looks like you caught it well and yes it was a good little show,if our national football team could play aswell as some of those people could fly at the show we would be in the final.I dont understand why they get paid so much for something they are not very good at.:rolleyes::rolleyes::).The show was 100% better entertainment anyway.
A few more….

:eek::)
Thanks to Glider spit and 92fis for vote on the stearman trio shot,I had taken a couple of shots just wondering when would be the right moment to try and make it look like a massive bi-plane with 3 fuselages. The heat haze spoils the clarity but on the up side it helps cover the join up on the top deck join up.
Nice set from the bump and like team viper as provost is one of my favourite aircraft as they flew around Newcastle a lot when 6FTS was at Acklington.Hope to catch them at Waddo this week on practice Thursday.Might see you there Anna.;)
