Since we have transfer the conversation in the field of technology what makes people to believe that while the european concepts are 4.5 gen while the american are 5 gen?

If anyone believes that there is such gap in technology that europeans cannot make a similar design to JSF or F-22 should think of it again.

Both Rafale and Typhoon are not stealth – shaped because of choice not of lack of technology.

The approach or even better their philoshopy and the ideas of future combat made europeans and americans to have distinguished designs.

Those that believe that european fighters do not have any chance against F-22 might have to consider it again.

In my opinion there are not indetectable designs for both france and the european consortium countries.

Although I always admire your ideas Arthur I have to disagree with your opinion about classification. Actually, it is not just marketing; if you look at it from the historic perspective you would see that historians make classifications for armies and technologies two or even three thausand years old. So I think there is something interesing in this discussion.

It depends who will use the best trained pokemons. Japan has an advantage.

As long as, (of course you know), the Navier – Stokes equations are not solved in 3 dimensions, experiments will take place each time a new project appears. Any way, I couldn’t say that given the cost of developing new software and hardware is cheaper to simulate in PC than making experiments in the wind tunnel.

Limitations like following scale laws (eg Buckingham rule etc), or making assumptions (eg assuming constant Reynolds number) have been studied so much that makes wind tunnel tests even more reliable and actually I suppose the “no risk” philoshophy will allow both methods, computational and scale simulation to co-exist in the future.

The question that naturally arises is how much has sikorski paid to secure both the contract and avoidance of a legal engagement.

I suppose simple chronometers, actually to estimate distances
