Excellent picture specially the first one. To bad they don’t fly anymore.
Hi wiseman,
Is this what you had in mind?

I always keep the file small to make it easy to see them. Haven’t a clue if there is something of a preferred size? At least in pictures that is. Is there an webmaster who has an opinion on that? Anybody?
Love to hear any comments, Pieter
Hi Seafuryfan,
No Puma’s this year, to bad. Not much choppers at all this NTM. One Mi-35 and 2 AB212AM and no special colour scheme.
With gray F-16’s, gray Tornado’s, gray Harriers, gray Herculeses, gray Grippens etc. I really mis the 80’s camo paterns. And I must admit I got a bit spoiled for colours with a trip to Japan earlier this year.
Anyway have fun spotting, Pieter
Nice pictures keep it coming.
Really liked the Seahawk, although the Swordfish hurts a bit because I have never seen it flying
Pieter
Nice shots. I really like the Vampire

Hi all,
Even in analogue times I always had a spare body with me, that usually was my old body. It is very useful. But one thing I like to add to the discussion in these digital times, add extra batteries or battery packs.
I have been to Japan earlier this year and apart from nice spotting there will be a time that you don’t have the time to recharge
Gary your trip sounds good by the way, so happy spotting
Pieter
Hi all,
Thanks for the comments, I am glad you liked the pics. A few thinks the clear up;
– The Cessna are all WFU but some frames are used for training purposes. A bit similar like the FIAT G-91 or Gina’s as they call them.
– Cessna 13713 and one other are being prepared for delivery to Mozambique.
– It was a genuine spotters trip. Photography in the hangers was limited and we were not allowed to visit the “factory”. We were under constant guard but quite a lot was allowed and out hosts were very cooperative.
– there is only one P-3P still active (14805) the rest are ex Dutch P-3C which will be upgraded tot a P-3C CUP+ standard
– For the DCH-1s someone was telling that they wanted to keep them for a 100 years. Not sure if it is true but a great story anyway
– Yeah typo’s, guilty as well I’m afraid, in abundance
Bye, Pieter
