lol…ive tried a UK tour.
I planned 14 stops but managed 5…got bored of that
i agree. That last shot in the negative lot is great
Brilliant shots Guys!! Great 747 Michael
great shots!!
have a drink on me when you celebrate being able to land the Queen of the skies
Have you ever routed over the Grand Canyon at low altitude? thats good but see if theres any downloadable scenery
I do LHR-MAN a lot but i think ive done it too much with a whole variety of a/c.
Your not wrong there Airliner Owner, superb
cheers matey…the good approach paid off with a wicked landing 😀 😀
Great LS757 there Manston Airport!!! Im tempted…oooh im tempted
Great shots there Robbo1987. Glad it worked a treat! It took me about 5 or 6 747 landings to figure the best way to approach. Thats the best way in my opinion.
Good luck for future landings mate
yep i go throught the same process
1) i have scenery for Cuba that i love so at the moment i fly to and from there
2) The best landings i ever do are in the biggies (B777 or 747 – A330 or A340) so i find routes to suit the planes
3) I find the ATC to rigid. Theres no variety in the way they say things.
I get sooo bored aswell.
The one thing that truly winds me up is when ATC put you on course, the HDG is always either a ‘0’ or a ‘5’. i.e. HDG – 100, 105, 110, 115, 120…no hdg 132…
i have one more shot for you guys:
1) Speedbird 655 1 mile from touchdown at Sydney’s RWY34L. I think this is my best ever shot
The joy’s of FS Traffic, NOT!
LOL, thats why i have PAI AI a/c so it is vagely resemblent
but hey, thats me being me
Robbo1987: I have a number of successful 747 landings under my belt. I suggest take off fully laden around 165kts. I suggest landing with no more than 50% fuel as it becomes difficult. When ATC are bringing you in, when around 2000 ft, slow to 170kts with flaps around 25.
The closer you get, slow the engines until your at around 155 kts over the base of the runway then cut the engines.
well, the Aeroflot DC-10 is ok but did JMC even have an MD11?
oh well
one shot from me in my BA 744. After flying LHR-HKG, i got a touchdown pic from Sydney
1) G-BNLD landing on RWY34L at SYD/YSSY
