The monochrome and hangar shots aren’t quite as large, so I’ll post the 1024x images.

I’d be there in a shot if it didn’t clash with the Goodwood Revival. Looks like a cracker in the making.
In response to the above two posts, the plan (according to the guys who work there) is that the ‘Star will be overhauled and displayed in her original operational scheme – “original silver”, to quote. Whether that means bare metal or re-painted entirely, I don’t know. Didn’t have a chance to ask as the museum had closed (they kindly allowed me in after 4pm to photograph the T-33) ๐
I buy Aircraft, Flypast and Aeroplane Monthly every, err, month, regardless of the content (don’t review them in the shop before buying) so it doesn’t bother me – as “ludicrous” and “stupid” as that may sound!
It’s only once a year, twice at max, at the start of the airshow season. Don’t see the harm, really. Sure, the majority of enthusiasts may be aware of the events and museums, but it may be of use to more casual readers. Not every aviation enthusiast relies on the internet – indeed, I know a few people who rely solely on the above named magazines for their news and dates.
Other than that, JDK’s first post in the thread pretty much sums up anything else I wanted to say.

Great stuff, as always. Very much looking forward to popping my La Ferte cherry this year. ๐
Damn, that looks like some tough light! Still, some quality shots there – loving the Harvard beat-up in particular. ๐

Or so I believe… not sure about #4, though. Bit before my time. ๐
Nice photos. ๐
Love that last JayPee shot. The rest aren’t bad either. ๐ :p
I’d like to see more, if you have any? Always a pleasure to look over ‘old’ shots.
My daughter passing her entrance exam into a posh school, and knowing my ex husband has to pay the school fees.:diablo:
Nicely done. ๐ And congrats to her!

Sorry, this has been a very self-indulgent post. Iโll try to be more reserved in my picture selection next time!
Again, hope youโve found something of interest here.

Back to Saturday for some flying shots.
I hope theyโve spotted the Hun on their 6.

Not a perfect shot by any means, but I think this sums up the first 15 minutes quite nicely!

Thanks for the comments, one and all. Iโve now uploaded some shots from the weekend, thought I may as well throw them into the fray too. 56k users, I do apologise.
Saturday did not dawn wellโฆ

Sunday was a different story, thankfully!
