Great landing. So, looks like he was also able to cut the engines and feather the props before he nosed over.

why does not our so called buddy give us some free f16 🙂

Because the TSP is an economical basket case – i.e., a renter and beggar state. On the other hand, the Land of Rice eating Yindoos have the moollah to support Unkil’s Military-Industrial complex’s voracious appetite for money.

The US and India are bestest buds and to try and hide Akulas from you buddy might not go over to well (if it was even possible). Who really thinks India would forego bragging rights over China anyway:)

    Daniel

Not so sure of Unkil-Indo relationship being buddy-buddy with Unkil and the TSPs cavorting as usual.

Dunno, I guess they stick in my mind from when I worked at Budget Rent-a-car and we had a meeting room at the old site at Heathrow with dual aspect windows, one looking up the glideslope and the other across the runways.
I always remember the Air India 747s would always touch down right next to the building when using 09L
That was my favourite meeting room until a few years ago I was working on a project that was based out of Boscombe Down and room 111 overlooked the Operational Evaluation Unit’s ramp, and the runway beyond. Boys with lots of toys……. 😀

    Thanks.

….. accelerate….lift off…..weeeee…..splat into the underside of an Air India 747 on finals to LHR :dev2:

Just curious. Why, AIR INDIA, of all airlines that land at LHR?

Hello 182man. Good bus the 182. If you want to try something different, go have a trial flight in CSE’s SMA diesel engined 182.

Hi Camlobe, been away from this board for awhile now and just saw your post. I love flying the 182. Hopefully, I will get a crack at the diesel ones.

In the meantime, I got my AMEL IR and moved on to a 2003 Seneca V (PA34-220T). Love flying this one, but is very painful on my wallet.

Just to put things in another perspective –

inches of rain in new orleans due to hurricane katrina… 18

inches of rain in mumbai (July 27th)…. 37.1

    population of new orleans… 484,674

    population of mumbai…. 12,622,500

deaths in new orleans within 48 hours of katrina…100

deaths in mumbai within 48hours of rain.. 37.

number of people to be evacuated in new orleans… entire city..wohh

number of people evacuated in mumbai…10,000

Cases of shooting and violence in new orleans…Countless

Cases of shooting and violence in mumbai.. NONE

Time taken for US army to reach new orleans… 48hours

Time taken for Indian army and navy to reach mumbai…12hours

status 48hours later…new orleans is still waiting for relief, army and electricty

status 48hours later..mumbai is back on its feet and is business is as usual

    USA…world’s most developed nation

    India…underdeveloped by US standards..

Must point out that the Mumbai, an island, is not below SL and that makes big difference. But what is truly despicable is the shooting and looting.

Additionally, what pains me is the race card baiting by the Jesse Jacksons (Mr. Poverty Pimp himself), the Al Sharptons, the Maxine Waters and this Kanye West characters from that ethnic group. Anything, anytime, it seems to rip Bush a new one.

He’s also a lowlife who’s ruined the lives of his wife and children, if you’re so enamored by him in Britain then you’re welcome to keep him

Err.. what did he do? As a one-time cricket fan, an enquiring mind wants to know.

US registered Aircraft have “N” numbers. Canada seems to have “C” and UK = “G”. What about aircraft registered in countries like Austraila, Israel, India and Japan. Where do I look them up? Thanks in advance.
