Over Yateley a couple of minutes before that. One clipped wing and two of the others with cannon.

Two Spitfires just `beat up` Blackbush airport!
One was a Clip Wing.
Just had a plane-gasm!
TE311 and MK356
Yak(?) doing aerobatics over Blackbushe this evening, I particularly enjoyed the inverted run down the runway 🙂
Not something I’ve seen there before.
I’d forgotten all about that transformer building on the south side – I spent many hours standing next to it!
A quick search throws up a number of photos of the white fencing at Blackbushe and the tree line is much the same today. Eagle started regular services with Vikings from there in 1953.
The top picture is taken from the south side at Heathrow. Are the last two Blackbushe?
If it was me I’d do –
Brooklands and FAST(Farnborough), 20 miles apart & easily do both in one day.
Yeovilton
Cosford
Newark
But it all comes down to your travel arrangements etc.
The Hunter’s shadow is a bit less flattering…!
A380? 🙂
Oh well, never mind. I shall keep an eye out for the 1956 version.
50’s jets and James Garner would have been a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
What happened to the last editor? Any mention seems to have been erased.
Not quite how my TV guide describes it….. Two different films???
(15:00 – 17:20, Action Adventure) Exquisite cinematography illuminates this adaptation of Walter Farley’s novel about a boy’s bond with a spirited horse.
Kelly Reno, Mickey Rooney, Teri Garr, Clarence Muse, Hoyt Axton
Jet Provost heading north west over Yateley Hampshire at 16.00
The same thing struck me, I couldn’t believe how quiet it was as it flew over Minley Woods.
Hurricane and Spitfire in formation heading south east over Yateley
I was always under the impression that the Convair CV990 was the fastest.
I’m guessing that as he cut the engine before touchdown it was deliberate? Gear failure???
