Well they did give a large debt we had to pay for many years, ohhh and Dallas.
Yep!
Hi Group,
I am normally on the Historical part of the forum, Bu tbeing i have a interest in general aviation too, I thought i would pose this question to you,
Where do old light aircraft go to “Die” here in the UK, I hope to find a OLD, pre mid sixties Fusalage from say a piper Colt, or any old tail dragger, chipmunk etc, and would like to restore it, I find everybody is so busy chasing “Military” aircraft that the historical Post war Light aircraft are being left behind, in the conservation world, Please if anyone can help. I would be most appreciative, now matter how small the information,
Truth is i dont know where to start, I live in Bristol. so i guess a copy of “Wrecks a Relics ” would help, (will start searching tonight ;))many thanks
Chris C,
Hi thought you said you were out of avation for good, again it looks like you have changed your mind.
Merkle i fully understand you now, you are like a tumble weed in the wind knowing not which way you are going next. A drifter in the realm of hobbies not which one to stick at.
Yes MAT please stop, you do this on every photo thred its silly and spoils it for all.
Yes i`ve seen, if it were not so sad it would be funny. Member of forum for 10 days 119 posts averaging over 11 posts per day:eek: All saying mostly the same thing.
O and this is XH668’S 668th post 🙂
Is there a competition running here or what.
Was it really necessary to use the quote function and copy all the photographs. What was the point.
Oh, leave Merkle alone! Perhaps he has become a closet member of TIGHAR??!!! After they have found Amelia Earhart, got those rows of Fw 190’s out of Alpine caves and flown “Maid of Harlech” off the beach then, and only then, will they turn to the Meteor T7. It needs to be talked about a good deal beforehand. Thats just the TIGHAR way of things!:D
I like your way of thinking 😉
You seem to have stopped broadcasting about your plastic Spitfire, Graham. Did anything come of it?
 I think you have the wrong person Robbo. I do not know anything about a plastic Spitfire.
Well theres a surprise, after all those posts saying it was to be dug. All those arguments about selling shares in a dig opportunity, you yet again fold. Do you ever stick at anything. This is not a dig or Merkle bashing as you have put it, but you do seem to go on quite a bit, and all you say you are doing never comes off. So IMHO stop broadcasting to the world everything you say you are doing, as nothing you do ever comes of it.
So anyone can go through the records or do you have to be in a group?
Merlin so you off to Prague, have you seen a film called Hostel, i suggest you watch it before you go some good tips lol.
S
Ha ha very funny, yes i`ve seen the film, Lucky for us it`s set in Slovakia NOT the Czech Rebublic. Food for thought though lol.
I would love to have atended on the 5th, however the wife has persuaded me to take her to Prague for a short break.
Robbo i have got to say your Photographs of Shuttleworth are fantastic, a real shame i wont be there, oh well maybe next year 🙂
