    I found it enjoyable and interesting but that bloody song was just cheesy beyond words and I had to put the volume down. The inaccuracies rankled a bit though.

    All this cross border willy waving is not terribly productive for anyone. I am a Scot first and proud to call myself such- and a Brit second, but a Brit just the same. I voted against devolution and will never vote for independence. I cannot abide nationalistic bigotry and in the eyes of the world I’m sure all that just makes us all look a bit small minded. While I’m on my little soap box, that bloody film has nothing to do with Scotland and everything to do with Hollywood and anyone who takes it in any way seriously needs to go and read up.

    My son is currently at maritime college. He is doing it via sponsorship from a company and is going off to sea for the first time next month-a 4 month trip. He is enjoying the course, says its not academically too difficult but a huge amount of information to learn and remember. Having previously tried the university life and hated it, this seems to be suiting him just fine.

    Dont find him funny in the slightest. He’s second top on my most disliked TV personalities list, right behind Frankie Boyle.
