Valentines day is “commercial bullsh*t
I agree entirely.
So is Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Easter and Grandparents Day.
They exist only to make money for people who sell cards, flowers and cheap presents on the back of people’s guilty consciences.
Ah, that’s better.:D

Likewise.
Its always something special to see this particular Spit where she belongs.
To see her in that place in the hands of one of the Few was beyond words.
Thank You.

Well, if I was a memeber of the club I’d certainly tell them!

Looks really good.

Starlight sounds more like it.
The programme was broadcast on “Council Telly” then repeated on one of the cable channels about a year ago.

It was STENDEC if I remember-and there are theories about what it meant, but no definitive answer.
There was a documentary on about this a while back. It started its descent to the airport a little early because of a navigational error, bored into a glacier and eventually disappeared under the ice.As the ice moved, it carried the remains with it until bits of aeroplane started coming out of the bottom of the glacier.I think its name was “Starlight”.
Richard.
Well done on your persistence. I sincerely hope it pays off one day.
It would be quite something to get the remains of a 617 Lanc back to these shores where she truly belongs.
I heard she left him because he was rotten in bed!

Well I’d like to visit NZ one day.
Scenery and climate look nice, and any Kiwis I’ve met here seem to be decent folk.
Cost me an arm and a leg though.
