£30 the pair? (plus the OS)

Nah-all you do is take the battery out, put it back in the wrong place, muck up the centre of gravity, and there you have it. a homesick mole with invasion stripes!
Daz-thanks for the offer. Better not take it up right now as Ive got 4 biplanes needing completed first. Are these the Cambrian Funfighters for 25 engine? What are you looking for them?

Yes, it is indeed a 1/12th scale Spitfire model – with a 32″ wingspan!

I was looking at the photos of it on Saturday and thought I’d have a bit of fun (boring desk job! ;))

Looks good though, don’t it?? 😀

Looks better than my 1/8th scale Cambrian Mk9 which piled in vertically last week.

    From the HAC website Gallery

I may have a clearer photo if that would help.

On the subject of Spits, I piled my r/c one in last week, and am looking for some in cockpit shots so I can make the detail as good as I can while I’m repairing it. Can anyone give me details of any good internet links with photos?

    Great stuff!
Nice to see she’s got a new lease of life.
Is this the last flying Belfast then?

Nice shots. One thing I’ve always wondered…..
Does the corrugated construction give any aerodynamic benefit, or disadvantage?
Why did they build it like that?

I agree. These pilots had a very difficult and dangerous role to play, and without the kudos of the fighter jocks.
Bat 21 had the Hollywood treatment allright, but it got the point across.

Yup, good film, good platform for Danny Glover, and it really showed what you can do with a Cessna.

Well, its only a small ambition, but I’d love to get my duster out on a Spitfire-or one of those highly polished aluminium finished beasties. Sadly I have to content myself with my old Rover 218.

Not going to Leuchars this year. In the huff. Fed up with seeing all the usual suspects, and as the Eurofighter isnt on the line up, there’s nothing to attract. Am I alone in my bored apathy here?
If only we had a decent warbird contingent, like down south. Since the retirement of Phantoms, Lightnings, Buccs. Vulcan, Shack, there isnt much left to excite. You can only do so much with a pointy paper dart.

Love that last Tornado pic. You can almost feel the heat from those burners.

Think Steve’s got it right. 976 came over in the early 70’s.
    Wish it was still here………..:(
