    RE: 633 Squadron Mosquito’s

RS712 is now with Kermit Weeks and, a far as I know, not flying. It spent many years with the Strathallan Collection, and was last seen there in an all over silver scheme. I believe its now back in camouflage.

KB976 is now with Kermit Weeks, I don’t know her status. I too visited this Lanc at Strathallan, and followed her progress from being flown in from Canada. I have some good pics of her in the hangar, resplendent in full camouflage scheme ( and not a budgie perch in sight Lancman). Unfortunately, I cant get my Photosuite to send pictures since I wentBroadband. If anyone can tell me how to fix this, I’d be glad to post them.

    RE: Shackleton Last Rites

I agree with the comments regarding the Shacks demise. How has it been allowed to get into this state in the u.k’s premier aircraft museum of all places? Surely it must be possible to restore it, when you consider some of the bin bag jobs that have been brought back from the brink? There aren’t too many examples of this fine beast left, and its a great pity that we wont be able to see it with its stablemates in the future.
