Brilliant:) . They say a pictures worth a thousand words, the poppy drop certainly sums up the whole weekend in one image.
Not usually to phased by the windbreak/tent/stepladder arguments myself, it’s a fact of life with big shows. Must admit I did feel uncomfortable walking through the sea of unattended mini tents on Saturday morning. After this weeks events in London who knows what could be left inside them?
Nothing but the ‘bandwidth exceeded message’ showing here. Photobucket has a limit of 1500MB per month on its free accounts, so it wont recycle to the end of the month. Paid accounts (9USD for 3 months) are (practically) unmetered in terms of bandwith.
Legends on Saturday, Brunti on Sun – looks like another busy weekend then 🙂
That is good news, lets hope for some decent weather at Waddington this weekend then 🙂
Sad to hear another one of the few has left us, what a guy.
The programme last year was a Channel 5 special introduced by John Suchet , not a Time Team production.
cheers everyone. Flankerman there are many ways to resize your photos for the web from Photoshop to freeware solutions such as Infranview. I try to keep my images under 100k in size and about 800 pixels wide when posting on the web.
Very nice, good to see she’s up and about again 🙂
excellent stuff Gary, all that weather made for some brilliant cloudscapes at times!
Excellent idea James, not posted any of mine yet so here’s three I quite like, all big(ish) radials

Great images, still kick myself for actually missing seeing one of those things fly 🙁
Glad to hear it hasn’t been repainted _just_ yet, events conspired to prevent me seeing it flying last year, be nice to see it with that patina of age just once before it gets a spruce up.
thanks Gary, think the Buchions still waiting on paperwork, unfortunately.
Thanks for the heads up Steven, guess its pbase playing silly beggars again. Showing up on 2 different machines here for me now though, anyone else having trouble?
More than likely will call in, for my first visit this year 🙂
