On the BAV webiste it says:

Do not worry if you do not pass the test.
Just make another application via the website and you will be allowed a re-test.
If you do not pass on the second occasion, then perhaps a two-month “study period” is required.

If you do not complete the test within 7 days of receiving it, then your application will be removed.

    Good luck!

So make a new application to join you should be able to try the test again.

This entrance test is -in some ways- a good thing. Before there were HUGE waiting lists (as there is only space for 1000 members). You get to try the tests again mate. If it were about a year ago, you’d have to wait around 6 months or more to get it.

    Hope that helps,

This problem is -more often than not- actually sound related… Usually happening to people with certain types of onboard sound cards.

    Try this:

Start > Run , and type ‘dxdiag’ into the box

    Click the sound tab

Then turn the hardware sound acceleration level down to ‘basic acceleration.

    Hope That helps,
    David.

I would have been in central london today if I didnt choose to go the one of the essex offices today for my work experiance. I would have worked in holborn (afew metres awaw from Kings cross) and potentially taken the bus the was blown open! I’ve been there every day of the week exept for today! and will probably go back next week travel allowing.

But i have to say I am mostly unphased by this as alot of other londoners are. We say OKAY, this has happened. Theres no point in dwelling on it, lets look to the future and what we can do to make sure this doesnt happen again.

The contrast between yesturday and today is almost surreal. Yesturday we won the olympic bid, the red arrows flew around london we -as one person put it – “Shoved a big one up a frogs arse”. National pride was at probably an all time high!

Now today, its COMPLETLY different. Quite sad really.

I rekon LAX is good for getting approach and TO shots as every runway in the airport is next to a road! All you need is a car, someone else driving, the window down and a camera (i wouldent advise you leave the car – TSA)

But MAN is great for ground shots.

    Try this link: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/784979/L

It does look quite cheap and nasty. But i didnt expect them to do much with the crew rest area…

All of iFDG’s and POSKY’s aircraft have wingviews.

Wingviews have to be modelled into the aircraft, so if the design group is crap or lazy they wont put wingviews into the aircraft.

You can change the wingviews by changing the ‘[eyepoint]” and “[viewpoint]” settings in the aircraft.cfg file. But i’m not sure how to do that..
