    Hello,

This is what you get when you decide to employ “Professional peple”, who have probably spent a fortune on “market research” to justify any decision they may make, [common sense has no place].

that the RBL no longer wish to look back at conflicts of the Second World War and before but want to concentrate on present conflicts

As the poppy is associated with the WW1, I presume its day is numbered.

    Discuss = Sarcasm

But I am sure it will be.

    Hello,

It was circulated a bit back that the weeks lanc, or parts of, had been lent to a certain mr P. Jackson of New Zealand, to help out with the filming of a certain remake.

I wonder if an off shoot of this would be to give New Zealand its own flyable Lanc.

Would possibly explain some of the delay in filming.

    Cheers

    Hello,

The suddenly vacant seat is taken by Cruise, who in an heroic act during the strike mission will save his female love interest that has been hit by a SAM and needs support to get back home. Hello,

As to any updates regarding the remake, the security in preventing leaks in regards to the real raid, is nothing compared to the lack of updates regarding filming of the remake!

Last I could find was this:

    Hello,

As parts of this seemed to have been filmed in South Africa (the “ZS” registered helicopter landing at Wick in the first part was a give away), I can only presume the aircaft at the end were also South African.

    Sequence went like this:

    breifing at side of Lightning

Pilot straps into 2 seat Hunter (filmed from the side so it looked a single seater !)

Take off roll, shot of a Buccaneer front wheel.

    Take off – Tornado F3

In flight Tornado F3. no use whatsoever against a ground target, especially armed with AIM 9 practise rounds!)

Abort – HUD shot of a low level run over the London Barrier (they should have used the Dambusters theme!)

Somebody should have told the film makers about LGBs, or Storm Shadow!

Funny, even the wife was laughing at the last bit!

    cheers

    Hello again,

Thank you very much for the info.

I have often wondered if the plan was to take the series forward through the rest of the war?

I dont suppose we will ever see the likes of this series again (escecially from the BBC!).

    Cheers

    Hello,

Not quite so slow, if I remember correctly the flying BE2 was filmed in the States for the series, also in some of the ground scenes there are at least 2 BE2 replicas in shot, these are the ones I am interested in.

Also I presume this was filmed somewhere near Shuttleworth, as the Boxkite was also used.

    Cheers
