Just to answer some of your queries :- My original intention was to have 1/11 scale cars of the era to drive out of the aircraft on landing, however this idea was scrapped due to needing the nose area for most of the radio and batteries to assist with balance.
The reasons I am building it to 1/11 scale :- This gives a Fusalage length of 2 metres which will just fit between the back of the front seat and the tailgate of my car. This scale also gives a wingspan of 3 metres which is easily divided into three pieces again for ease of transport. And last but not least I allready have two engines which I think will power it.
After looking at the pictures you have so kindly posted I am leaning towards the Sabena Airways G-APAV but will keep you posted on that when the time comes to start painting.
Computing to me at the moment is a black art so am unable to post pictures at present but will do so as soon as I have learnt.
    Best Wishes,
    Dave. 🙂

Thanks guys, You’ve given me some great links all I have to do now is finish building the aircraft, So far it’s taken me almost three years but I’m expecting to have it airworthy by the end of the year. Silver City livery is tempting as it’s the first airline I flew with ,though I think Sabena looks good to, and Midland Air Charter would be the simplest to duplicate.
Thanks again you’ve all been a great help,
    Regards, Dave.:)
