on a related note..some would argue the advances in unmanned drones and weapons, takes the ugly out of war, and turns it more into a video game

Cool stuff!
But I just canβt help myself asking why you select the foolβs day to post them? :diablo:
it is an april fool’s joke!
Phantom is really the guy on the right :diablo:

IIRC, the Su33 outranges the Mig29K (by how much I’m not sure). Either in pure AA or AG config, the flanker has better range, this means that the Kuznetsov could try to stay within a certain range braket from the Vikramaditya so that the distance is just within the flanker’s strike range but outside that of the fulcrums. Under such circumstances, there can only be one winner, and at worst a draw if the defenders can down enough flankers.[/QUOTE]
a good question would be.. how much CAN the Su-33 take off? This was a subject of great debate for many, as some argued that the STOBAR configuration limited the heavy Su-33 in its payload and fuel load, while the MiG-29K could take off with more.
you guys can stop analyzing as april fools is over :dev2:
quick question:
does India still produce MiG-21 under license? If not when did production stop?
thanks for the clarifications Ken π
It will not…cos once chinese get together their act ,they r unstoppable. Which is what the chinese r doing now.The determination and courage of the Chinese is the answer and not any other thig.
Every country on their way to power bound to have some obstacle and this can be one of them,it will not stop China but slow down the pace abit. Time will tell,10yrs later.I going to dig out this thread and prove u correct my judgement! By then China may already overtake Japan as number 2 already! π
lol, talk about insecurities. People can boast all the want but the current circumstances in the world as well as those in the future, will unlikely breed further super powers simply because most places in the world already went past peak oil production and the Middle East is reaching there. China unfortunately, does not enjoy the same luxury the US and Western Europe had in in the 50s-early 70’s when it was cheap and seemingly abundant. This doesn’t apply to just China, but every country in the world. Further more the olympics mean nothing.. China did not have a strong showing in the winter olympics (but they usually do in the summer ones).. and any athletic accomplishment should be attributed to the athletes themselves who worked at it, rather than the nation.

thank you friend~~will it be possible there exist two designs of novi avion?one just look like refale, another look like j10 as the above pic show?
you’re right, there’s two different pics. However from what I read in the past, the “Rafale” looking one is the more accurate of the two models.
Novi Avion doesn’t look anywhere near like the J-10. Although it is true that there was some French assistance in it, but it didnt really go anywhere.
As for the Romanian fighter.. it just looks similar to the FC-1…but so do many aircraft of that vintage (similar style intakes, etc)
Why China will be a superpower in coming future and why it rises so fast…

i count 20 MiG-29Ks and 4 Kamovs.. looks congested already! Real life might have less MiG-29ks and more of other assets imho.
for Kuznetsov:
Fixed-wing
12Γ Sukhoi Su-27K
4Γ Kamov Ka-27LD32
18Γ Kamov Ka-27PLO
2Γ Kamov Ka-27S
The Kuznetsov is indeed larger than the Vikramaditya. Yet, so is the Su-33 compared to the Mig-29…………….
well lets start off with air wing. what are the types and numbers we can expect to be flying off the two ships?
