what’s a WIG?
Vaiar is right, Argentina would not be foolish enough to have Venezuelan fighters helping – it would make it almost a certainty that the US would intervene on the UK’s side, and would destroy the Argentine economy, which is not in the best shape anyway.
Argentina’s economy rebounded from the debacle in 2001, its much much healthier now and this year has reached a budget surplus. But yes, Argentina enjoys good relations with the US at the moment.
eh? those ventral fins? are huge, what kind of landing gears were put on the Crusader III?
So much hype for such a boring game.
Sauron
why do you always sound so bitter in every post you make.

the F-104.
A better radar that can fit in its radome.. perhaps the Blue Vixen
a two piece canopy for better forward view
improvements in armament
leave the turbojet engine
and you have a great point interceptor that can get into the air fast, get to the target fast.. unleash its bvr missile, then turn back home. The Germans may not have had great experiences with it..But the Italians and Spaniards sure love it
I would put into production the Yak-141 modernized with new avionics, radar, uprated engines with Supercruise and armed with R-37, Python V, Meteor and R-77
I was thinking of the same exact thing..
a Yak-141 with a Zhuk-M (or Blue Vixen for those who like western stuff)
would be a nice alternative for those who can’t acquire the JSF.
I always had a soft spot for the Su-17/22. First because I think it looks really cool, but also because it is a rather impressive strike planes in terms of payload and accuracy, plus they have a reputation of being really sturdy and reliable… all that makes a good combat aicraft, IMHO, and I think Poland has been well inspired to keep them as long as possible.
Just my two cents… 😉
do you know schorch? i think he is also from Toulouse
What ever happened to the MAKO anyway? Is it a dead project now?
seems like it.. especially the way AFM worded it. No one seems to take the risk and be the the debut air force. I’m a bit worried that the Hawk will end up winning this one too.. not that it’s a bad trainer.. it’s just boring :dev2:
Wait guys,is this actually a Lego set or a custom made thing? I mean this thing costs some money you know…
Darn and i was thinking that when i made a submarine out of Legos i accomplished something
In conclusion, lucky kids,if the guy has them:)
exactly.. Lego’s were pretty expensive when I was a kid.. its mighty impressive.. the aircraft too!
I don’t think the Mongolian military has an independent air force, their air arm is part of the Army.
is it? i recalled the operated a number of MiG-21s
Has it been decided yet which is the world’s most pointless air force? (yes guys, you are waaaaaaaaay of topic)
i’m still going to have to say Mongolia.
pointless = having little need for one
although others here have equated pointless air force with pathetic air force and useless air force despite the fact that the countries with these awful air forces, still need one due to xyz reason.
Oil is theoretically renewable. We just haven’t figured it out yet.
yes, but until then, high prices have been effective in lowering the demand.. which in turn lightens how much pressure foreign oil producers are squeezing on our testicles, especially since our foreign policy wants to us to play with both Israel and the muslim world.
I think this article sums up the need for high prices nicely (although abit dated)
http://www.hooverdigest.org/061/sowell.html
While we’re at it let’s jack the price of food through the roof so everybody will be skinny.
oil = non renewable commodity
food = renewable commodity
Are you serious. Go research the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, the Iraqi State Oil Marketing Organization, and the DFI. They control Iraqi oil, not Bush and Halliburton
Have US oil companies profited during the last few years? Well yeah, have you noticed how oil is like $50 more per barrel than it was a few years ago? But wait, EVERYONE is profiting in the oil business as a result of high prices! Does that mean the entire worldwide oil industry, including fellow Arabs in OPEC, and even IRAN, were behind the Iraqi invasion?
i dunno bout you guys.. but I think prices SHOULD be high! so far, price has been the only successful method in getting people to use less oil.. other wise if it was cheaper, people would continue using it.. buying Stupid Useless Vehicles (SUVS), large houses than what they really need, etc and etc further worsening the oil situation.
