‘Mr Smith’, a short (but not short enough) that I had to sit through more than once while waiting for the main feature. Had Peter Barkworth in it. Talk about losing the will to live….:(

Thanks for that Kev. I’ll follow that up. Is DORIS a person or an acronym?:)

I’d be too terrified to fly an aircraft I’d built myself:D

I read his autobiography many years ago, and I’m sure there was a passage in it about an encounter with a German aircraft, which from the description could only have been a Do335 Pfeil. Everything else I’ve read about this aircraft says it was never encountered operationally by allied aircraft. Am I remembering this correctly, and does anyone know any more about it?

    Maskelyne TV Documentary

If anyone’s interested, the TV documentary about Maskelyne I mentioned in an earlier post is being repeated tomorrow, 15/9, on C4 at 20.00.

Sad indeed, especially as the project is so close to reaching it’s goal.:(

I think we could call them that for the purposes of this discussion- would there be much difference in terms of operation, financing, the CAA’s attitude etc. between one of these and a dataplate ‘restoration’ of an original?
If I ever get to see a Flugwerk or Stormbirds machine fly, I will still regard it as a 190 or 262 even though it’s new.

Did a quick Google, there’s a guy had the same messages trying to install DX9a, he said he had to upgrade Office to get it to work
I would suggest doublechecking the pre-requisites to make sure you comply.
