    Pic – Pantah

One of the first belt-drive Dukes in the country. Very expensive for the time (£3500 in 1981), and beset with problems, such as needing a gearbox rebuild within a month. When it was working, a fast and stable ride. Turned heads too!

    Pic – 450 Desmo

This was the most fun bike I ever had, looked and sounded wonderful, and had phenomenal handling. Wish I kept it, the guy who bought it had more sense as he’s still got it 25 years later 🙂

    BSA Bantam D7
CZ 250 (cheapo Czech workaday bike but excellent handling)
    Ducati 450 Desmo (glorious)
    BSA A10 (in bits)
    Ducati 200 Elite (in bits)
    Ducati 900 GTS
Ducati 500 Pantah (first of the belt-drive V-Twins, a bit fragile)
    Honda 250 Superdream
    Suzuki Bandit 600

The last two were just for commuting. Don’t have anything at the moment, just as well probably as I’m one of these old ‘born-again’ bikers and bound to have an accident
    😀

A 999 or RSV Mille would be nice.

10 minutes to let the wake turbulence dissipate 😀

At 300ft you should feel the tip vortices at the crowd line:D 😀

    Pic for Seafuryfan

FS2002, UK VFR scenery. Fowlmere bottom left, DX in the background. This is not the Seafury download mentioned previously, I’m downloading that now.

    Rhodes disused airfield

Here’s a pic of one of the disused fields on Rhodes. I don’t know which one, I took the pic from a bus as we passed by, in 1985.

    Hi,
CFS1, 2 and 3 are all independent programs, you don’t need one before the other – they’re successive generations. 1 is crude by today’s standards, 2 is ok, 3 I haven’t seen but I’ve heard is demanding on hardware.
Century of Flight aka FS2004 is the latest generation of the civvy sim, includes some historic stuff too. It’s new, but I’m sure it will follow in FS2002’s footsteps with piles of free and payware addons. You can download almost any aircraft you care to name for FS2002.
You also need good harware for the civvy sims – fast processor, and a good graphics card especially. Having a high quality joystick and some rudder pedals makes a huge difference too.

I have XP Home and CFS1, CFS2 and FS2002 all run with no problems.

Ashley, I’ll be ok for the Sunday, plus my 11 year old. Thanks for all your efforts on our behalf!
