Any ad to do with hair care products. They always seem about 20 years late.
The Toyota Avensis ad where the characters witter on about being on the board etc. They all need a baseball bat around the ears.
That is the DBs 😀
Looks and sounds great, more like a Griffon than a Merlin.
Will make a great picture in formation with the Fw190 🙂

Our own lovely Becca knows a thing or 2 about W.W.II film, and I’m sure she’ll be on the case soon!
Be quick in case she get’s a new job!
P40 count looks surprisingly low if all theatre are included.
There’s also the Me209…
This is about the first US military aircraft to do so.
Anyone remember ‘Moonstrike’ about Lysander ops in France? I’m sure there was a real Lysander in it, can’t remember if it was flown or not though (this is 40 years ago 😀 ).
About a year ago I found a short recording ( 2 sec) that was supposed to be of the MC72 at full throttle
I’m sure I’ve heard this as well, connected with a sim model of the aircraft but said to be the real thing and included as a bonus.
It sounded fabulous, unlike any other aircraft I’ve heard, more like an F1 car.
Wonderful aeroplanes.
What happened to Memphis Belle’s crew after the war. Do any of them still survive ?

Two crew members survive according to this. The aircraft’s pilot Robert Morgan passed on just a few months ago.
I think the Fiat G-50 would make a great reproduction. A fairly simple design that should easily take an alternative (available) radial, lots of very interesting paint schemes, and a planform that looks like it would perform along the lines of the Oscar or Zero from a maneuverability standpoint. Probably not “popular” enough with the masses but I’d like to see one none-the-less. Regards, Chad Veich.
You could also say the same for the Romanian IAR 80, a more attractive design too IMHO.
accompanied by a young blonde
and what did she want? :p
The Imperial War Museum building in London used to display an engine which was said to be from this aircraft. I saw it there many years ago, don’t know if it’s still on show (or genuine).
I believe that a Russian flyer also joined this exclusive club during WWII, as I recall he ended up sliding across a frozen lake or something like that.
Possibly duff memory, but for those of you old enough, didn’t F/Sgt. Alkemade appear on ‘What’s my Line’ on the TV once? (For those who don’t know, a panel have to guess the contestant’s unusual work/story/experience etc.).
1) shoving my brothers pram downstairs shortly after he was born
My sister did that to me, still got scars.. 😡
