    Hi GA
Really suprised by your tone of reply I thought I was just trying to get some actual fact to the situation
Michael had done a great job finding out what he has but in his own words he was suspecting / guessing and I cant see where I am asking for a repeat of any information just a confirmation if indeed anyone knew, I dont think your reply was just.
I know u are a major contributer to these forums and your photos are superb but I was in no way trying to go over any old information
Apologies for the obvious offence caused

    Hi
I am very suprised why there have been no responses to this post
The Southside is a Major Viewing/photo spot in the UK with many visitors many who use this forum
I went to EGCC yesterday but only to the AVP and forgot to ask about the SouthSide
I hope someone here who is local can shed some light on to it

    Regards to all

    Hi There
Depending on your location you will be able to see a varied amount of traffic including Ground, Low Level and High Level Traffic
I see u are in Blackburn, you will be able to pick up most SBS equipped traffic into all the airfields around
After initial set up there are a number of free add ons that will enhance the SBS allowing u to see the registrations and a lot more
Just be aware that location is vital any high buildings or other objects in the way of your aerial will reduce traffic in that direction, also be aware that not all aircraft are equipped to display their position the figure varies but from personal experience about 40% of traffic are displayed but as I say this can vary.

Any thing else you want to know just post here

The Knetic Forums http://www.kinetic-avionics.co.uk/forums are a superb source of information and help

    Thanks for the comments
Only £40 return and we also hired a car which was £50 but well well worth it as Schipol is massive and the cost was shared by two
Only one problem was a wrong turn on the A4 motorway to see a sign for London 525 km 🙂

    Cheers

    Hi All
    Thanks for the comments
Personally speaking as a Professional Executive Head Chef the food is absoloutly DISGUSTING as is most of the place its a great shame but I dont think thay will be changing things in the near future
The Romper Pub near the AVP looks much better but unfortunatly the food is just DING DING Catering (Microwavable Rubbish)

Anyway where have I put my Camera !!

    Cheers

    I thought u were there
I was at the cemetary but the view from there for decent photos is getting worse due to the bushes getting overgrown
Whereabouts can u park to be close to the bench?, also what camera do u have

    Cheers

    Hi Paul
I am also very new to photos of aircraft and see your photos are superb
You ask A330 about aperature, ISO Settings and such like
Is there a quick way to find out how to set these things up correctly or do I need to read up
I have a Fuji S5000 as an entry level camara and have really struggled to get off decent shots , also at Leeds
I have looked on Amazon for a book and have come across DSLR for Dummies , is this a good place to start or is there something better

Many Thanks in advance of any assistance and please keep posting your excellent photos

    Best Regards
    Paul E Lee
