At the end of the day, after stop and start tests, the Spitfire flown for the first time since the replacement of the contraprop engine.

The first test of the new engine of Spitfire 19 of Christophe Jacquard at Dijon-Darois.
Once these tests finished, the FW190 made some start and stop tests. I will post the photographs of FW190 later, if you want.

SPITFIRE the well named
Spitfire PR19 received a new engine and a new propeller.
Christophe J. wanted to benefit from these changes to repaint his plane like fighter.
The new decoration “is inspired” by Spitfire VIII and XIV of the 152 sqn.

Pending the works on Focke Wulf, the maintenance of the SPITFIRE 19 began during the off season with inspection and NDT, which should be followed by a change of engine/propeller and a new painting.
