Actually it seems a bit double-standardish to me that some of you are crying foul after doing the same in the PAF thread.
doing what ? we hang out in the PAF thread for less than a few hours, point out a few facts and they cannot stand it, whereas Insig and Rimmer have been trolling on this thread since its start. apparently they cannot read what the title of this thread is- FLAMERS NOT WELCOME AT ALL.
Why the bolts on top of the semicircle?
its meant to show the externally accessible handle that can be used to eject the canopy and extricate a pilot who may be stuck inside (like happened to the F-22 pilot). thats what the RESCUE arrow points to.
This is the only reply u can give me after misleading abt JF-17 capabilites?
as per you, the only ones “misleading” about JF-17 capabilities should be PAC Kamra themselves since they put up that placard with the 8G max loading specified..please take up the matter with them since you seem to think that you know better than them. 😉
Pre 2006 doesn’t mean its not valid. The fact, it still stay there means the spec still valid. If its not valid, U go e-mail the webmaster and ask them clarify. That is an official Pakistan aeronautical complex webpage, not some tom dick , harry website u post.
specs were obviously changed at some time to 8Gs as the PAC Kamra placard clearly shows from IDEAS 2008. stuff like that happens to save weight.
you can see the placard here as well although the image is not as clear as the earlier ones I posted.
Please don’t be personal. Don’t bring mum-dad here. Everyone has some soft feelings and respects for their parents. Just like you love your parents we Indians also do same but in different manner. We see our parents like God. Any disrespectful word about them is very very unfortunate. 🙂
I’ve raised the issue with the mods. let them take care of it since he is unapologetic.
Which French AWACS Pakistan uses? Atl? BTW I guess Erieye have two blank points on the front and back side?!
Yes, the reference was to the Atlantique MPA, although its not an AEW&C.
Who told u that? Your mum did, is it? +8.5G is comfirm.
As for the little cute aircraft, it is under power and will never reach 9G. 9G is on paper only. Unless a major redesign to fit GF414. On the national day, little cute aircraft fly straight and never pull any tight turn.
JF-17 pull a tight turn to show everybody what kind of G it can take. It’s not on paper. It’s demonstrated. :diablo:
I have raised the issue of your abuse with the moderator and they will look into that. you may edit it but it’ll show in my quotes.
as for the JF-17 being capable of 8.5G, its not- check these pics from IDEAS 2008. the placards were placed in front of the JF-17 and were prepared by none other than PAC Kamra. I’m sure they know better than some internet fanboy like you.
there you go. the pictures don’t lie. either PAC Kamra is lying or you are. I don’t for a minute have any doubts as to who is.
and by bringing in the Tejas into this thread with your deliberate flaming, you’re inviting us to discuss that in detail. will bring much grief to Pakistani posters who want only PAF to be discussed here.
Su-30MKA:
thanks for that ! its rare to see the Su-30MKA and its nice to see a different camo than the boring ones used on the Su-30MKI and MKM..
Saab Erieye technologically a mid-range AE&W system as per Dawn article
AEW&C systems Dawn Editorial
Thursday, 31 Dec, 2009
The technology is inferior to the American Awacs long denied to Pakistan.— Photo from AP/File WorldThe induction of the first ‘high-tech’ aerial surveillance system into the Pakistan Air Force has been hailed as a great leap forward for the country’s defences.
But we are circumspect. Here’s why. First, the Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) system purchased from Sweden is actually a mid-range technology, better than the rival French technology currently in use by the Pakistan Navy but inferior to the much-sought-after-but-denied American Awacs. Second, it is not clear yet to what purpose the new Swedish systems will be put. Handing the first over to the air force suggests that the war planners have an eye on India’s ‘cold start’ doctrine, which would theoretically make possible quick, surgical strikes inside Pakistan. But the fact is, the Swedish technology acquired can be equally useful over water, where the Pakistan Navy could use it to keep an eye on India’s submarines, particularly now that India is testing its first indigenously built nuclear submarine (though it is not yet clear if the Indian craft is merely a nuclear-powered submarine or a nuclear-missile-armed submarine).
Either way, the Swedish radars are a defensive capability that seems to have been acquired in response to assessments of what India can or cannot pull off militarily. Which raises the question: is military hardware the only, let alone the best, route for Pakistan to respond to changing threat perceptions? War planners here in Pakistan are always keen to highlight that they have ‘realistic’ assumptions and are ‘aware’ of the economic constraints of the country and therefore understand the impossibility and undesirability of matching India weapon for weapon in the military department. And yet Pakistan has just accepted the first of four reconnaissance systems that will cost $866m after virtually zero debate outside select military circles. Value for money? The people can only be certain when the defence-procurement system becomes more transparent.
Stop the talk and let us just wait for JF-17 induction soon and start pulling 8.5G
I know some aircraft will break now for doing that part. :diablo:
The JF-17 will not go to 8.5G since its onboard computers will restrict it to 8G as it was designed for 8G max, not 8.5G.
as for your flame, the aircraft that you’re indirectly referring to will not go there because its onboard FBW won’t allow it to as of now. but if it were allowed to, it won’t “break” for your information because it was designed to 9G dynamic loading. of course, facts won’t stop you from flaming, but I’ll just state them nevertheless.
shows the LCH model from up-close. its obvious in this pic that its fuselage is quite narrow, whereas the other picture from the previous thread taken a from different angle makes it look fat. BTW, are those rotors similar to those of the Dhruv or have they been changed ?
Maybe I am just dumb and need points explaining to me. If disagreeing with things I am told sometimes makes me dumb, maybe it is not such a bad thing.
You have STILL not answered my question of HAWK/LCA yet indulged in a personal attack.
Shall we stick to the topic in hand or do you now realise you cannot back up your argument on the HAWK/LCA/OCU training claim you were making?
stop trolling on this thread. the mods have been alerted to your posts on this thread and your attempt to get it locked.
Still another flame post. How about you actually stop posting unless you can argue on a relevant topic. You are right, Mods can read, its also why I alerted them to the past few posts.
where did I flame ? I simply said that YOU brought India and the IAF into this thread. anway, no problem. the mods can see what I’ve written and can make their own judgement. I know exactly what you’re trying to do and I’m sure they’ll see it as well.
Ankush. Please point to any single post of the 120 plus I have posted on this forum that has been off topic.
Every single one of my posts has been bang on topic and I have avoided politics of any kind. Despite me being racially abused by Nirav and Mods having to clear his posts.
I am now going to alert mods as you are determined to ruin this thread. This is getting out of hand.
the mods can see what I’ve posted on this thread is simply replies to your posts on the IAF– so tell me why do you bring in India and the IAF into this thread ?
it was you who kept raising how India couldn’t influence US arms sales to Pakistan, when nobody else even mentioned it. it was you who claimed that India wanted the F-35 and it wasn’t offered as part of the MRCA, when nobody else raised it- even though anyone who follows that competition would know why it was not offered. when I reply you say I’m going off topic. so you can state whatever you want and its ok but others do it and you say we’re derailing this thread ?
what they can also see on the IAF thread is how you act like you are there for a discussion but simply flame. don’t act like they’re blind or we’re blind and can’t see what you and Insig do on that thread and why you guys post there so often- even more than you post on the PAF thread. and nobody has racially abuse you. you and all the posters on the IAF thread belong to what is pretty much the same race, as a matter of fact. you keep raising “race” because you’re desperately trying to get the mods to ban them. thats the fact.
Anush. How has your above post contributed anything to the thread. You are just as bad.
don’t bother to appear on the IAF thread under the pretext of talking about this or that when you’re basically flaming and trolling there. then tell others what to do.
Samsara,
Pakistan matches India in many fields and sometimes is further ahead. Let us not talk about importing belts. See Arjun history and the Pakistani Khaled. Then you have the Babur versus Yakhunt. Then you have the homegrown Pakistani UAV against the Israeli imported IAF drones. Smartly I am avoiding LCA-JF17 developments but you know what the reality is. Same goes to the shooting round the corner guns. POF developed and sells them while India looks for them to buy. And the last item is, as some Indian already said, strangely already developed by Pakistan while China still needs it. So the usual statement that India is advanced in every field. They might be further in some fields. Don’t make your personal opinion sound like the reality.
I have the idea that you are here only to make this turn into flame.
man you’re just so full of it..how much of this is actually anything “indigenous”, we all know. you keep talking about “flame” because you don’t want to discuss anything in its reality.
the same happened when I asked what one single component on the JF-17 is Pakistani for it to be called a Chinese-Pakistani project and you and all your ilk start screaming that I’m flaming.
so thats basically your modus operandi-when you don’t have answers you say we’re flaming, whereas you spend more time on the IAF thread than on the PAF thread, doing precisely what you claim we’re doing- flaming.
